👻How to play Breakpoint the way it should be👻

Breakpoint came a long way since launch and Ubisoft has made significant improvements to the game over the last few years. This guide will teach you how to play the game properly to make sure you enjoy every second of it.

Introduction

I'm always a Ghost Recon fans ever since the first game came out, my first Ghost Recon game was Ghost Recon: Island Thunder back on the PS2. Nowadays I enjoy quite a lot of Tactical Shooters on the market. This simple guide aims to make Breakpoint as immersive & tactical as possible similar to older Ghost Recon games.

Now you get the idea how the game is in the current state now let's walk you slowly through my guide.

Setting Up The Game

Ghost Experience Parameters

Set it to Immersive Mode

Enemies - Advanced | In my opinion Extreme is too much, it makes the AI inhuman not realistic.

Tactical - Elite

Interface - Minimal

Social & Bivoacs - Restricted

Exploration - Not Guided | Read the MAP & CLUES carefully, use your BRAIN, OBSERVE the ENVIRONMENT, use your EYES & EARS!

World Parameters

Set Drone Presence to Reduced, Azrael Patrol Frequency to None, and Helicopter Patrol Frequency to Classic.

Apply these settings and restart your current session.

Graphic Improvements

You can improve the Anti-Aliasing to remove those blurriness by disabling Temporal Injection (Adaptive AA) and enabling FidelityFX Sharpening set it to 100
You can also improve the overall look of the game by adjusting the Brightness & Contrast setting under Video setting
My favorite setting Brightness 45 & Contrast 53

As you can see it improves the overall image quality quite significantly say no more to washed out colors!

In-Depth Settings | Tactical & Teammates

Tactical Difficulty set it to Elite and then change the Bandage Quantity to Many.
Tips: If you find it tedious in gameplay then you can enable Syringe Heals Injuries and change Injury Chance to Often.

Social & Bivouac
Set it to Restricted and then change the Social Hub setting to Public so you can see other players roaming around in Erewhon!

Ghost Recon Teammates
Disable Special Abilities & Sync Shot Weapon Display.
Tips: You can Enable Special Abilities if you want them BUT I suggest you to deactivate Fury if you don't want to break your immersion because her gadget is OP literally free wall hacks.
Sadly, we can't control their abilities they will use them automatically.
You can also Deactivate one or two of your AI teammates so you can create a 2 man & 3 man Squad or go Solo Lonewolf One Man Army style if you have the GUTS!

Rainbow Six Teammates

In-Depth Settings | Interface

First Interface Setting set it to Minimal and follow these settings.

Tips: Playing without a crosshair can be difficult however you can use the MAWL-DA laser to easily aim at targets with your naked eyes/NVGs (don't worry enemies can't see your laser). You can find it at the southern side of the Aurora Island in Liberty Airport inside one of the hangars.

Minimap Setting
There are 2 types:
1. Disable the Minimap completely | You need to know the Sun/Moon position in order to know where you are going, alternatively you can use your Binocular or Drone as a Compass and you can see the current time at the bottom.

2. Enable the Minimap but set it to Light so it represent a Compass | But it notifies you if you get spotted, kill witnessed, etc.

Enable Current Location so you know where you at.

Disable Toxic Gas/Gas Filter | Now you need to pay attention to your character if you start coughing up that means you starting to get intoxicated move away from the area immediately or change you filter in the nearest station! (Operation Amber Sky features)
The rest are pretty much the same settings, don't touch anything!

Mods & Other Gameplay Modifiers

1. Spartan Realism Mod

THE MUST HAVE MOD FOR A REALISTIC EXPERIENCE!!
This mod takes the whole gameplay experience to another level.
Enemies can see you from further away making long range engagements possible just like real-life!
Enemies can hear your suppressed weapon sounds from further away making the suppressor realistic not like in the movies.
You can tweak your damage to enemies making gunshots very lethal!
And many more changes you can also tweak them to your own liking!

2. Authentic Warfare Sound Mod

This mod disables Hitmarker sound effect and replaced a few weapon sounds with realistic ones you should check it out!

3. Ghost Mask MW19 & MWII

Playing with modded game is 100% SAFE as long as you are not playing PVP/RAID you HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Not that great of a guide, only useful thing to take away from this was graphic settings, modding isn't necessary and the rest of your settings are subjective and not the "definitive" this is how the game is meant to be played, that's a blanket statement always said by people who say their way is the only way to play the game. and then you're recommending mods that have problems of their own. No a good guide would've been to just to tell new players to play through the game on unchanged settings and overtime to experiment with the advanced settings because there is no such thing as a definitive way to play this game, that's why there's tons of options in the first place, multiple playthroughs with specific challenges and mindsets in the forefront of your decision making and setting adjustments is best example of how this game is so re-playable, doing the same thing over and over is not gonna be enjoyable for anyone other than Mil-Sim guys.
