What is Software Galore?

This mod aims to make the game more software-rich. I've added 7 different software types so far, I plan to add some more in the future. Software Galore introduces 3 new software dependencies, which include: IDE and Programming Languages - These are required to make all software (including vanilla software), and Game Engines - These are required to make all game types. These new dependencies will add a new challenge for you in the early game, requiring you to depend on more software created by other companies. This will keep the game challenging for longer as you slowly try to expand to be completely independent.

• More complexities to Computer OS, such as kernel and other dependencies. (If I do decide to make this, it will most likely be as an addon.)

Various balances to modded software

Slight price changes to modded software
Removed Multiplayer option from Game Engine
Removed Game Emulator software
Better names for Programming Langs

What is an addon?

Addons are mods that build on existing software types in Software Galore. This approach allows me to create unique and interesting mods that utilize software like IDEs or Programming Languages, without forcing any particular playstyle. Addons are completely optional, only install the ones that interest you.

Can you elaborate a bit on how to make your devved programming language picked up as licenses by other companies? What are the factors?

It gives you a certain amount of money each month depending on your user count, but you have a chance of being sued. The exact amount is your userbase * 0.25. Didn't realize it had no description, sorry about that.

thats odd, only mods i have that affect software are software galore and hacks galore, guess hacks could do it, ill test myself some other time

It is a dependency for games. Another mod might be changing the default game file which overwrites this mod.

is the game engine not a dependancy of games? i made a first game and didnt see a spot to select the engine
