2017 UPDATE

If you're having script errors, read carefully.

I've fixed the script error regarding combine not spawning on new map configurations. It will work with NEW map configurations from now on, but old map configs need to be edited to benefit from this.

If you want to fix an old map config you have two options:

- Download this file[puu.sh].
- Put the "basewaves.lua" it inside "\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\thehunt_maps"

- Go to \Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\thehunt_maps", and open the map you want to fix.
- Locate the "basewaves.lua" string and change it into "basewaves.txt". Save the file and close it.

When loading a map, check the console. look for BASEWAVES.TXT. It will say wether the required file exists or not.
First time it may throw an error, try a second time before giving up.

Sorry for the 2 year long abandonement. I moved on to other projects.

THE F*CK IS THIS

Your worst nightmare. The combine have the Resistance cornered on [the map you're playing], and, well, you're part of the resistance.

The combine are coming: they are better armed and they outumber you 30/1. You have to survive until they decide that you're too strong.

Chat Commands

!remain: How many combine are still around.
!taunt: makes the player shout, alerting nearby combine.
!help: opens a link providing some basic info.

Gameplay Issues/Questions

MUH FRAMERATE IS LOW: You see the red halos on the enemies? That's the problem. Type h_outline_radius 0 on the client's console to disable them.

COMBINE DON'T PATROL: Nodegraph problem. Tell me on wich map this happens and i'll fix it.

THE COMBINE ELITE SYNTH DOESN'T HAVE WEAPON: Download the NPC minigun.

THE COMBINE ACT STUPID: You are playing with too many people and the gamemode is going nuts trying to guide the combine to you. Try to not to play with more than 4 friends.

HELI APPEARED AND CAN'T FIND THE RPG: It's there. Spawns on the same locations normal weapons spawn. keep searching.

WHAT CONSOLE COMMANDS DOES THIS GAMEMODE HAVE: Before loading a map on your game, select at least 2 players. A menu with options will appear.
Or, you can type h_ on the console and Autocomplete should show you all the gamemode related commands. To know what command does what, execute it without parameters.
