This guide I made in part for myself to help me decide which systems are the best for building my Imperial fleet. Another reason is to see what each world gives without having to click each one every time.

For Clarification. PLEASE READ
A few things I wish to explain to everyone. Firstly, Imperium does not mean just the Imperial Navy ships; it means all ships, including the Meachanicus and Astartes ships as well. That was something that confused me for a while and it didn't help that The IN fleets were labeled as Imperium in the level up menu.

Secondly, the modifications from worlds such as increased critical chance and such do apply, however, they aren't added until the ship is in an actual battle. I don't know why that happens, maybe it's a bug that never got fixed, but regardless, the effects do apply.

Thirdly, Renown is the equivalent of XP in this game, not currency like the previous title.

And finally, this guide is a work-in-progress as I haven't played through the whole campaign just yet. I will do my best to update this guide as I play through the game.

How I structure this guide is in this way: I'll list the system in order of which they are connected via the Warp lanes and list the Points of Interest (POI) and what they give you when you take the system. Then I will list the total benefits of the sector at the end. The base rate for ship repair is 10% and troop regeneration is 3 per turn. I won't be factoring that into the results.

A great place to build IN and AdMech fleets because they start one level higher than usual and they get new leaders more often. I would definitly recommend going for the Cadian and Sabena systems as quick as you can as the increased renown earnings will pay out in the long run.

There isn't much to this sector at all. Not a good place to build your fleets in what with only a Minor shipyard. The one thing it has going is the Archeo Gellar field that pretty much stops all invasions except what was already mentioned.

The amount of resources alone make this sector a great one and that's before factoring in the boost from Mining worlds. The amount of shipyards available and an enclave make it a good place to recruit an AdMech fleet quickly if you're willing to go lighter on the cruisers and the amount of shipyards grants quick access to faster repairs. Bear in mind, three of those Training outposts aren't available until after a certain mission.

This system is where your economy really takes off. The ship Cemetery and all the Mining worlds fully upgraded boosts resource production to insane levels. This sector is also a great place to recruit Astartes fleets as The Critcal assault chance is essential when controlling their fleets because they heavily rely on Boarding actions. There's some threat from the Tyranids, Necrons, and The Drukhari but a fleet or two in system should handle things.

So far, this sector is THE best to recruit Iron hands ships as ship starting at level 3 alone make it worth it. The Telstarax adds a lot of value to the system and the ship yard lets build a fleet rather quickly. It's not the best spot to recruit an AdMech fleet bu the option's there if you need reinforcements sooner.

This sector is another great place to recruit Astartes fleets as well as Mechanicus as the bonus to Critical chance is huge. It will take a while to make a whole fleet with only a Major and Minor Shipyard.

This place is a good one to recruit an AdMech fleet as the increased bravery is needed as their ships have the lowest bravery of the three Imperium Factions. Though, it usually never gets that bad unless the ship is about to be destroyed so you'll want it to flee anyway. While it's not the worst place to recruit an IN fleet, I would still go with the Cadian system. That being said, if you need reinforcements fast, you have options, even if it's not optimal.

Securing this sector will be a bit of a challenge but it is worth it as the increased Nova Cannon damage will help the AdMec fleets since they rely on Nova cannons to get the job done.
