FOV Fix and Custom Resolution [2025]

Update your FOV and add custom resolution support in 2025, without the need for downgrading or using third-party apps. Completely safe!

Short Introduction

The old methods used to change the FOV in Resident Evil: Revelations involved either downgrading the game to an older version or downloading third-party programs that dramatically increased the chances of crashing. With this new, updated method, however, this is now a thing of the past. I'm going to teach you how to improve your quality of life while playing the game.

RERevFix

In order to change your FOV, all you need to do is download RERevFix, released on May 7th, 2022. This package is nothing more than a DLL file (xinput1_3) and an INI file for customization.

For this guide, we will be using version 1.0.0, which is the latest as of writing this.

WARNING: While there have been no known bans, it is highly recommended you do not play online while using this DLL. If you desire to play Raid Mode over the internet, don't take any risks. Remove RERevFix and use other methods.

As of October 23rd, 2024, Valve Anti-Cheat was removed from Resident Evil: Revelations. This means that this method is now 1000% safe to use. Even if it was possible to get banned before, it is now completely impossible.

Setup and Configuration

After downloading the small .zip file, all you need to do is extract both files to your root Resident Evil: Revelations folder, where rerev.exe is located.

As simple as that, the fix is already setup! All you need to do now is tweak it to your heart's content.

Open RERevFix.ini using any text editor of your choice and you should be greeted with this:

Here you are presented with not only the FOV fix but also other a few other features. The instructions are pretty straightforward so there is no need to worry. Follow them and tweak the values to your desired numbers, hit "save" and you should be good to go. Just launch the game and play.
I personally use my FOV at 32 as I think 36 is a bit too high for the game.

thx and i finally play nice with other fix,i make fps cap everytime when i run game now i dont need to do it.ive this before but changing whole pc hardware and i lost some game elements

Good news! This fix is now safe for raid mode in multiplayer.

They removed Valve Anti-Cheat from Revelations and RE6.
