Description

simple and "experimental" hud ive been working on out of boredom

the "experimental" part comes from the animations for the health indicator

there are console variables to hide the hud
'w_hud_on 1' for enabling and 0 for disabling
and
'w_hud_ping' to show or hide the ping counter

"w_hud_vignette" to disable the vignette effect
"w_hud_vignette_intensity" to configure its intensity

Im open for suggestions!

Without being able to adjust the colors, fonts, size, position, etc from a menu might limit it a bit, but it's not overly stylized that it would stick out particularly, (especially the ammo counter,) so it could have a variety of possible combinations. It'd be a welcome to any minimalist HUD, or even asymmetrical HUD. They're both worthwhile and creative implementations, and just being able to separate them means more modularity. It's very subjective of course, which is why the option would be great. You could fit it with any number of customizable HUDs. Even the default HL2 one.

Well just wait for it I can add that, not sure how well ammo counter or health heart would fit with other huds

I second the ability to enable/disable the health and ammo separately through a convar. I would like to mix and match with other huds. I'm considering including this in a collection, but I wouldn't feel comfortable telling people they'd have to manually edit the script.

If you can edit the script it's easy, you could comment out a function call, if not I may add the convar for that
