My mod-list for Gothic 1. The main intent with this collection is to patch bugs and script errors, add small quality of life improvements, and include minor graphical, UI, and model texture upgrades, while preserving the look and feel of the original game.

You may not want to include the German voice-over. I enjoy it, since the German voice acting is very well done and I usually end up skipping the audible dialogue after I read the text anyways. It can be a little jarring before you get used to it, since familiar characters no longer sound the same... But I'd recommend at least giving it a go. Gives the world a different feel.

Also, you will want to choose which texture pack to use - either Artemiano's or Panker. They both provide textures for the same models, so will end up overwriting each other depending on load order. IMO, Panker is an overall better pack, but I hate what it does to the main character's face, and it makes your game take a decade to load. If you're picky like me, you can go into the mod file and delete the HeroHead.vdf file and that'll fix it... but if you want a simpler time and shorter load, just go with Artemiano's. It's a solid texture pack, and it doesn't add a huge load time. Pick your poison.

**IMPORTANT**

Mod-fix is not compatible with the DX11 renderer or the Community Patch. If you want to use Mod-fix, do not select the DX11 renderer or the community patch. If you don't care for the additional content from Mod-fix, go ahead and slap those onto your game without Mod-fix.

Mod-fix also discourages the use of any additional texture packs (however, I'm not a fan of some of the textures so I ignore this advice... do so at your own risk)
