Kill at least one bad guy with every gun.

Colt M1917l (Police Revolver)
- Patrol Desk: Armed and Dangerous
Phelps is equipped with this as a Patrol Officer, the only opportunity to use it is during the bank shoot out in Armed and Dangerous. You have to drop the shotgun Q to equip the sidearm. The handguns dropped by two of the robbers are snub versions of the same gun. Walking over them will give you ammo.

You'll find the BAR for the first time in campaign after climbing the ladder out of the water, there will be a storeroom to your right guarded by some goons.
- Arson Street Crime, Cafe Holdup (one of four goons has it, usually on left)

M2 Flamethrower- Arson Desk: A Different Kind of War (in sewers, second weapon storage)
The only location of this weapon in the game. The storeroom is at the end of a long corridor guarded by goons. You'll come to this after descending a set of stairs.

Even if you miss any select the specified case and do it.

Golden Boy

Clear a case finding every clue as an LAPD Detective or Investigator.
This can be done in any case,follow a guide which will help you in the case.


Magpie
Find and inspect 95% of all clues.

Make sure you follow a guide which will help you find all clues in cases.


The quickest way to get the achievment if you already beat the game is to replay the first traffic desk case. When you replay a level, you automatically start the case with 5 intuition points.

The intro cutscene will be a bit long, but after it is over let your partner drive you to the crime scene. You can skip your partner's conversation while driving by pressing the "a" button. Examine the wallet and glasses next to the tree behind the car, which is next to "C". Then you can examine the pipe which is next to "B". Finally, you can examine the car. Talk to the person who discovered the scene.

At the beginning of each question, use an intuition point. The answers are all truth except the wallet question, which you should doubt..


Keep a Lid On

Street Crimes: Boxing Clever [Traffic], Canned Fish [Homicide], Daylight Robbery [AD Vice], Bad Date [AD Vice] & Accident Prone [Arson].

Block when they are attacking.


Asphalt Jungle
Chase down and tackle a fleeing suspect on foot as an LAPD Detective.

Cases: The Golden Butterfly x2 [Homicide], The Studio Secretary Murder [Homicide], The Black Caesar [AD Vice] & The Gas Man [Arson].
Street Crimes: Few

There's plenty of opportunities to gain this achievement. In many cases or street crimes a suspect will make a run for it. Some chases will either end by you having to fire a warning shot, the suspect taking a hostage or a fight scene, but during all this you may get a chance to tackle them.


The Straight Dope
Use evidence to prove a lie as an LAPD Detective or Investigator.

Will work in any case,when someone lie prove it with a clue.( follow a guide to help in cases)


Stab-Rite
At Ray's Cafe, find the bloodstained knife on your first sweep of the crime scene.

Case: A Marriage Made in Heaven [Traffic]

Once you arrive at the crime scene and all the formalities are complete, head into the alleyway in-between Rays Café and the other building to its left. You'll notice two dustbins and in the left one is the knife. Pick it up and investigate it further. Now when you can, head to the coroner and you'll mention the knife you found,you will unlock then.


Traffic Stop
Disable a suspect vehicle with help from your partner.

Cases: A Marriage Made in Heaven [Traffic], The Fallen Idol [Traffic], The Red Lipstick Murder [Homicide], The Silk Stocking Murder [Homicide], The White Shoe Slaying [Homicide], The Studio Secretary Murder [Homicide], The Black Caesar [AD Vice] & The Gas Man [Arson].
Street Crimes: Thicker Than Water [Homicide], Fatal Plunge [AD Vice], Paper Sack Hold-up [Arson] & Hot Property [Arson].

Again, you'll have ample opportunities to gain this. In many cases and street crimes a suspect will get in their car and try to drive away from you, so take flight and drive after them.

To get your partner to fire shots at the fleeing suspect, you need to get up and close to them and make sure you're on the left side of their car. This is so he can hang out of the window and fire his weapon. Simply get in close and as your partner fires off the odd shot, one or two will hit the wheels of the car. Once that's happened, drive up to the side of them and ram them off the road.

Tail a suspect without being spotted, in a single case.

Stay in safe distance and use cover, very easy.

The Third Degree
Correctly branch every question in every interview in a single story case.

This can be done in any case,follow a guide which will help you in the case.


The Hunch
Use four intuition points in conversation with a single suspect, correctly branching each question.


Huckster
At Elysian Fields, outwit Leland Monroe when discussing his developments or advertising campaign.

Not So Hasty
Stop a fleeing suspect with a warning shot as an LAPD Detective.

Street Crimes: Masked Gunman [Traffic], Running Battle [Homicide], Misunderstanding [Homicide] & Daylight Robbery [AD Vice].

This achievement is a little more tricky than the others. Again you'll need a fleeing suspect but in most cases or street crimes, you won't have your gun out to fire off a warning shot.

Firing a warning shot can be done in a few cases or street crimes, so play through until your suspect makes a run for it and you have your gun in hand as you chase after them. To pull off a warning shot you need to make sure your suspect is on a straight running path as this makes it easier.

The Moose
Tail Candy Edwards from the parking lot to her destination without using cover or going incognito. Except when starting or picking up the tail.


Case: The Set Up [AD Vice].

In the case "The Set Up" you will come to a point where you will need to question Candy Edwards. Once you've correctly questioned her a cut scene will occur showing you and your partner staking out Candy's motel. In the morning she will exit her motel room and you must follow her without being seen or using cover. You can use incognito once, but only at the beginning with the bench and newspaper.

Just follow Candy slowly from a distance. When she makes it around a corner run to the end of the corner as fast as you can, then let her create some distance from you again.

Miles on the Clock
Drive more than 194.7 miles.

2nd methodIt is a largy empty land so you can reverse a full 360 degree,So incase you need like 100 more miles to drive it could take up to 2 hours of driving so try this.Keep something heavy on the keyboard letter A and S (see image below) other items can be used also as long as it makes the car go around.You can leave the game on untill you get it.Warning : After doing this you may unlock the achievement on steam and not on social club so make sure you save by doing a street crime or some other way.





Lead Foot
Keep the needle above 80 mph for more than 10 seconds while driving.


In here you will find a lary empty land,it works with any vehicle but it is good if you can find a special vehicle in a garage.Drive at top speed with out crashing you will get it



Public Menace
Rack up $47,000 in penalties during a single story case.

If you have finished story start a new game and skip the tutorial then you will start at "The Driver's Seat" case on Traffic Desk,Start a new game if you did not do start new game and just open the case only you won't unlock this on social club.

. Get the Duesenberg Walker Coupe (Rare - on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd and El Centro Ave in Hollywood) drive in full speed and crash it a few times only into others cars. Do not crash into people or objects because it will damage your car and only will cost like $10.Also take Phantom Corsair (Rare Car) and smash.

Then you will get more than $47,000 to be on the safe side.

Correctly branch every question in the interview with Jean Archer.
Just complete the interrogation with the correct responses and you'll bag the achievement.

Chop Shop
During the Industrial Street raid, kill a goon by shooting the hanging engine block.

When the shootout starts, run over to the back door with your partner and shoot the engine suspended from the rafters right away. There's a good chance there'll be a guy running right past the barrel when the engine falls on it, netting you the achievement.

Nowhere in a Hurry
Catch and arrest Cliff Harrison before he is stopped by uniformed backup.

Now from the start when the case begins chase him until you get up a slope he turns onto early and then from there just ram into his tail-end and try to knock him into a wall. This usually taks about 3 tries of ramming into his car but its quite easy. The majority of the time after the first straightaway he'll always turned left and thats when i would t-bone his car into a houses wall and once thats done just get out and run up to his car.

Reefer Madness [DLC]

High Flyer
Find the flyer at Juan Garcia Cruz's house and proceed straight to the 20th Century Market.

Before leaving Juan Garcia Cruz house make sure you pick up the newpaper in the room. There should be an advertisment for 20th Century Market. When you have collected all of the evidence head straight to the market and the achievement will unlock.
Warning you may not get 5 star in the mission when complete.

Forcible Rear Entry
Enter the Las Palmas stash house via the back door and kill Juan Garcia Cruz.

Go from the back and enter.


Soup In The Pot
Open both soup cans in Juan Garcia Cruz's stash room.

After the shootout at Juan Garcia Cruz's house you'll have a chance to investigate his home. Proceed outside to the backyard and you will spot a small wooden shed. Open the door and you'll notice various soup cans stacked on shelves. Check out the middle shelf and grab the second can from the left. Once the small hidden compartment opens, head inside the room.

As you enter the room you will notice a can-opener and two soup cans that you can investigate. Open up both soup cans using the opener on the wall. As soon as you open up the second can the achievement will unlock.

Spare A Dime
Complete the puzzle of the US Morgan silver dollars at Parnell's Soup.

Arrange coins to MAS - ANG - KAY - MET - ALS.

A Good-Looking Corpse
Find and inspect all of the narcotics in Julia Randall's apartment.

• Inspect body: both arms, and neck

• Inspect bedroom for: Jacket hanging on the closet, pills on the floor, and pill box (inspect it more twice)

• Inspect living room three photographs, middle one take a close look for a note behind it

• Inspect trash can outside the apartment on the first floor for morphine

Fakeloo
Tail Henry Arnett from Hollywood Station to the pawnbroker and travel agent without being spotted.
About halfway through the case you will have to tail the suspect Henry Arnett. First you follow him in a car. Stay a safe distance away in your car and be careful to not hit anything and alert him. Once he reaches the pawn shop you will have to follow him on foot. Stay back as far as you can and when possible observe on objects to go incognito. Eventually Arnett will cross the street to the right side. Continue following him on the left side of the street to make it easier on yourself and only cross the street once he's gone down the alley.
If you mess up do start from checkpoint just quit out and reload so you start back at the Arnett interrogation.


Chauffeur Service
Escort Heather Swanson to Arnett's apartment without damaging your vehicle.

Toward the end of the case you will talk to Mrs. Evestrom. Eventually her daughter will come in and you will have to escort her over to Henry Arnett's apartment. It's pretty far away so make sure to drive safe and slow. Use your siren as cars are less likely to get in your way. Drive on the straightest path possible so you don't have to turn down a lot of streets and always be careful at intersections as other cars are fairly reckless


Give My Regards
Shoot every letter down from the tower at the Broadway Hotel.

At the very end of the game you will chase the suspect onto the roof of the hotel. There's a large tower that he climbs with the word 'Broadway' in bright lights on it. Just shoot every letter until it explodes before you shoot the suspect on the platform and you will easily unlock this achievement.

Nicholson Electroplating [DLC]

Bulletproof Windshield
Kill the drivers of two of the MP vehicles in the Hughes Aircraft gun battle before they pull up.

You need only to kill 2 drivers and take the tommy gun from the car it will be more easy.

Out of the Frying Pan
Pursue Vernon Mapes from the burning house to Hughes Aircraft on your first attempt.

Don't try to take the car down just follow it.

Skeletions in the Icebox
Find and inspect all clues inside Okamoto's ransacked apartment.

Here are the clues and their locations:

Ring - Check right hand of victim from the icebox.

Wristwatch - Check left wrist.

New P.O.I. - Check face area of victim.

Tie Pin - Find on the floor in front of the fireplace.

Microfilm - Inspect the gold jewelry located on a Bedroom dresser. This matches the gold jewelry piece found at the initial crime scene and that clue is required to unlock this one.


The Nose Knows
Find and inspect the prop spinner at the Nicholson blast site.

At the beginning of the case, after taking care of the looters, you will be asked to search for clues at the Explosion Site. To the left of the coroner there will be a path that forks. Follow down the path right to the end until you see an officer who tells you to inspect the metal pieces to his left. Complete the clue by lining up the bottom and top pieces of the prop spinner till it reads "P&W WASP MAJOR R-4360." Once you've lined up the pieces of metal the achievement will unlock.
