This addon should be compatible with any weapon base or item, It has been tested with Arc9, ArcCW, TFA and MORE!


This a multiplayer addon first and foremost, meaning a hosted server. BUT it will work in singleplayer, so everyone should be good. Singleplayer may have some bugs but otherwise it works 100%.

For Server Hosts/Customization Settings
Either extract the addon the traditional way or download the addon in it's entirety off our repository: https://github.com/Mingooberus/IconicWeaponSelector

• Put iconic folder from the archive into your addons folder.
  
• Edit iconic/lua/iconic_config.lua to your preferences.
  
• Icon settings are stored in iconic_icons table in sv.db
  
• Icons themselves are stored on imgur, requiring your players to have internet connection to download them.
  
• Icon file cache is stored in garrysmod/data/iconic/icons.
  
• Import/export payloads are stored in garrysmod/data/iconic/payloads.

Console Commands

Parameters: <required_parameter> [optional_parameter]

iconic_enabled <1/0>
Enables or disables the selector locally for the player entering the command, stored in client-side SQLite.

iconic_scale <number>
Changes the scale of selector HUD, stored in client-side SQLite.

iconic_icon [weapon_classname]
Opens the icon picker for currently selected weapon. Alternative to the context menu widget for non-sandbox-derived gamemodes.

iconic_flushicons
Flushes icon cache on the client and removes icons from the disk, forcing to re-download them.

iconic_export <name>
Exports the current icon setup into garrysmod/data/iconic/payloads/<name>.json for later use with iconic_import.

iconic_import <name>
Imports a previously exported icon setup to the server.
