Description
This mod adds two music instruments, a water pipe, meditation cushion, two dice games, three board games and three card games with animated poses in the stools.

Playing games will train science.
Playing music will train dexterity.
Meditating and smoking builds up damage resistance. perception

V6: Items no longer create a player town, smoking and meditating trains perception.

No training cap.

All items are low build cost.
The research is level 1, made so for you to see the title, but prerequisite is lvl2
Prerequisites: basic furniture, costs 1000 cats.
Research is already available in the research tab.
NOTE NOTE the research itself does not show until you have unlocked the basic furniture (lvl 2)

LOAD ORDER and CONFLICT
Load anywhere. Does not conflict with anything. This is a standalone and it cannot be affected by other mods UNLESS they especially target this mod to change it. No other animation or buildings mod can accidentally affect this mod.

CUSTOM RACES
Use the Massive Animations to Races patch. If your race is not included, let me know.

You can naturally add these animations to your race yourself.

DISCLAIMER
Due to Kenshi's je ne sais quo, the character mesh can sometimes be seen through the pants when sitting on the pillows. Use the community part map or similar to prevent this.
The poses work best for average sized characters. The music instruments and the water pipe might not align correctly if the character is too tall or too short.

About catcrawlers: you might wonder where is the plank. Plank is basically a zero. The player cannot throw a plank, only the host can. So I assume that is when the die falls on the floor accidentally.

MODDERS ALL PERMISSIONS GRANTED
Wanna use the items in your mods? Go ahead. The games are a separate part you can add to any table with similar height. You may use any item I made in this mod however you want. Copy, edit, sell, give away. You have my permission. No need to mention me.

I LOVE these, but I kinda wish there was a cap for how much their skills could be trained on these thangs. Like 10-15 or something. Its lovely to have a way for characters to train these skills safely, but I keep getting frustrated with how I look away for a minute and suddenly my dudes have 40+ Dexterity from playing the lute a bit.

@iriemk thank, I will give it a try. Sounds like a really nice tool to use.

@mehdi: good, you figured it out yourself. A lotta folks new to Kenshi modding are having trouble with the fact that steam downloads mods to it's workshop folder, not the game's mod folder (with the stupid ID number as folder name); maybe we need a guide or pinned topic on top of the modding forum that explains the process short & crisp.

@iriemk nevermind you just have to rename the file to the inside .mod folder for fcs to recognize it my bad

@iriemk hey bro do you know why i don't see any mods when i start fcs? i tried to remove the options to trains skills with the furnitures too but i don't even see the mod when i start fcs

@Bishop: Quick & dirty way to change functionality with FCS:

-fire up FCS, select only this mod
-click "Changes" in the top row, select the desired furniture, right-click & "Open"
-on the right side of the furniture tab, open the "functionality" entry
-find the "stat used" field and set the value to "STAT_NONE" in the drop down

And a word of warning: When I modded Kenshi the first time, I also thought this was the only furniture mod I needed. But once you start beautifying your home in-game with awesome looking mods like this one, it can grow out of control quick, like walking through an IKEA store with unlimited credit. In that regard, take a look at Random Furniture & Little Garden , with those 2 and this here you get a lot of cool options for interior design.

It's a splendid mod idea and I am really interested in adding it to my mod list, but is there any way to remove an option to train skills with those objects? I generally play vanilla, have only fixes and one map mod. I thought about adding just a few objects for leisure, but don't really want to make the game easier for myself

@RtBucco I am not sure, maybe you are using a custom/modded race that does not have the animation? @DECEMBER what a lovely set up!

This has become one of my favorite mods for my RP series. Thank you

Not sure what I am doing wrong, tried to use it with my Katun play through and it wouldn't work, any suggestions?
