One issue though; the turret mounts for the cover piece don't work properly. On save reload, the gunners manning them fall through to the ground.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to arrange vertically without using F12...
I don't think it's easy to connect them horizontally without using the F12 menu because it's not intended for creating flat surfaces...
If you want to create a foundation, it might be better to use other mods...
So my question is:
How to put frames on top of each other, especially stairs?
How to create a 5 by 4 foundation of frames with ease and without using f12?

To use the quaternion site, select "Apply Rotation" under EulerAngles,
Adjust the tilt and orientation of the black bar on the left by manipulating the X,Y,Z bars.
→The values displayed in W,X,Y,Z of Quatanrnion are the orientation of Kenshi's nodes.
For coordinates, Blender uses height for Z, Kenshi uses inverted Y
