Halo Reach Launch Screen and OG Xbox 360 Boot (Startup Replacer)

Description
WARNING!: THIS DOES NOT REPLACE ACTUAL LOAD SCREENS. THIS IS A RECORDED VIDEO OF THE ORIGINAL HALO REACH LAUNCH SCREEN. THIS VIDEO REPLACES THE STARTUP VIDEO FOR MCC.

Halo Reach launch screen and original Xbox 360 boot up. This will replace the start up video from the default to this that I created.

Subscribing should do the trick. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll work on a fix.

Where and how to install?

Open steam, right+click Halo MCC.

Local Files, browse local files.

Open MCC folder

Open Content Folder

Open Movies Folder

Replace Item here with one that you downloaded.

Leave a comment to let me know if it does or does not work. Thanks for giving this a go and enjoy the nostalgia.

Here's a link to a video playing the original Xbox 360 startup screen.

Could you maybe make one that uses the pre-kinect startup screen? It would've been the one used during Halo Reach's launch, as the kinect came out in November of 2010, while Halo Reach released in September 2010.

Sorry I forget to mention something. Before going to folder 2907112406 you will need to go through folder 976730, so add that to the step-by-step process before going to the other number folder. I will try the mod myself to see if it works.

It is as the author said. If I can help in any way, it may be easier to understand by simply first going to the SteamLibrary folder wherever you installed it (it may say Steam like the author said, but it says SteamLibrary for me). Then go to steamapps, then go to Workshop, then content, then 2907112406. This should be where the file is downloaded. Simply cut or copy the FMS_logo_microsoft_7_1_.bk2. Then go back to SteamLibrary/Steam and go to steamapps, then common, then Halo the Masterchief Collection, then MCC, then content, then movies and paste the file into the folder. I have not done this myself yet, but did it for a different Halo 2 startup screen one, so it should be the same. If you want to revert back, you can either backup the file before pasting the new one in so you can copy and paste the old one the same way you did the modded one, or you can verify file integrity when you wan to change back. Hope this helps! : )

@fultonsheldon Is it possible that your copy of MCC is in a different install folder? Try navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ in your file explorer. Open Halo The Master Chief Collection > MCC >Content >Movies. If this is where steam downloaded the file named "FMS_logo_microsoft_7_1_.bk2". Move it to your MCC installation folder. (use instruction in description above.
