Receiver the Board Game

Receiver The Board Game is a passion project attempting to adapt the Popular PC Game "Receiver 2" into a card-based board game.

If you have played Pathfinder Adventure Card Game or Arkham Horror Card Game, you'll find the gameplay and mechanics very familiar. If you played LEGACY games in the past, you'll find that this game works in a similar fashion, with new cards from the Insight and Notes decks adding new features and rules to play around with, potentially changing the game in vastly different ways.

Go into the Dreaming. Face The Threat in Reality B. Collect Tapes. Operate Handguns. Acquire Insight. Become a Receiver.

The game includes a multitude of cards, some custom d6 dice (rolling for tests is one of the main mechanics, as well as tracking resources), and a manual booklet, containing most of the rules.

There are some placeholder cards, which are mostly lore, but you can definitely find a more complete lore by playing the original Receiver 2. This game is also widely untested. So feedback is HUGELY appreciated.
