SS France (1960)

Here is the SS France from the 1960s, a long with her Norwegian livery as SS Norway!

SS France was built for Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (or French Line), and was the second ship to bear the name France. At the time, SS France was the longest ship ever built, a record that would be broken by the RMS Queen Mary 2 in 2004, and at the time of the capsizing of RMS Queen Elizabeth (as Seawise University), France would be the largest active passenger ship. France served with the French Line until 1974 after an Oil Crisis and she would be decommissioned and mothballed. In 1979, Norwegian Cruise Line (Norwegian Caribbean Line at the time) purchased the SS France and renamed her SS Norway. She would serve as SS Norway until 2006, when she was renamed Blue Lady, and sold for scrap in Alang, India. Her scrapping was completed by 2008, but the tip of her bow was given back to France is still on display at Port de Grenelle, Paris.

This addon also includes a reskin of the model to look like SS Norway. It's not that accurate, but it's the best I can do for right now.


Has bodygroups for lifeboats, anchors, name, glass, and funnels!
