Having climbed aboard after a crew change at West Brownsville Yard, you're awaiting permission to head west over the ex-Monongahela Western Division main line. Your power is a pair of NS GE ES44ACs and it is a drab, rainy autumn afternoon on the Allegheny Plateau. This scenario, of 40 minutes duration, requires the NS Coal District route.
