Dragon Slayer Board Game

Description
A brand new adventure awaits you.

You have journeyed far, Sir Knight, besting endless hordes of beasts in your travels and proving yourself both brave and true. But gird yourself well, for this new quest will not be an easy one.

Heed my words.

You are tasked with retrieving a sacred crown from the depths of a cavernous dungeon, inhabited by legions of villainous monsters. The weapons, magic, and items that are scattered throughout the lair may offer you some protection, but the crown itself is guarded by a fearsome, three-headed dragon, and your current strength will not be enough to best it.

You must search the dungeon for gold, magic bottles, swords, and anything else you can find as you gain experience battling the many creatures that lurk within its walls. Then, and only then, will you be strong enough to face the hideous wyrm himself.

But be wary in your travels, Sir Knight, for I have heard tell that there are other adventurers who would also seek to claim the crown, by means both fair…and foul.

Now then, you’d best be on your way. I shall pray for your victory and safe return.

Overview
The Dragon Slayer Board Game was released in July of 1986 by Epoch, a Japanese toy manufacturer that's still around today. It generally adheres to the same gameplay formula as the 1984 PC-8801 game by Nihon Falcom that serves as its namesake, with a couple of minor exceptions.

While the original ruleset is available for those who would like to try it, we found completing even a single session with these rules to be extremely difficult and not terribly fun. To counter this, we've developed our own set of custom rules which we believe is a much better way to experience the game for the first time. This custom ruleset can be found on the table immediately upon loading up the game.

We also have a quick-start video on our YouTube channel to help you jump right in and play with the custom rules:

Have fun!

If you have 3 friends and like 4 hours, this is one of the best kusoge board games you'll ever play. Its also unironically a really good adaptation of the video game

Dragon lovers beware

I only just now noticed this on TTS! Nice job. I was also working on one but shelved it because I lost interest. Thanks for making this!
