Original mod notes (1.3):

This mod adds an advanced (and hopefully balanced) deep drill into RimWorld. Advanced deep drills are 3x3 (9 total cells) and have its own advantages and disadvantages compared to the regular deep drill.
Unlocked with the deep drilling research, the advanced deep drill requires 900W and costs 250 steel, 3 industrial component and 1 advanced component.
Advanced deep drills are impossible to relocate without deconstruction, and are very ugly. Due to the advanced nature of the machine, a colonist is always required to be operating the machine otherwise risking the destruction of the material.
On the upside, advanced deep drills do not create infestations nor do they require a ground-penetrating scanner, meaning they can be placed anywhere and can mine whatever material you choose.
