If I missed you, I'm sorry. I've had so much help in the past, it's hard to remember everyone, but I sincerely appreciate everything everyone has done for us.

*This version is for play-testing, and for feedback regarding the mod.*

Tallon IV Overworld, the first area Samus crashes down upon after escaping the pirate frigate in the beginning of Metroid Prime. Notable features are the waterfall and pool of water below it. A lush rainforest landscape of foliage covered in a downpour of rain.

The Mod consists of the following:
* Accurate Samus Aran biped with custom animations and textures
* 3 original beams: Power, Plasma, and Wave
* 1 new beam: Havoc Beam, that provides rapid fire "havoc"
* Custom sounds for when you are hit and during death, as well as the original beam cannon sounds from the game
* A fully-3d HUD that moves as you move, with swapping icons for each of the beams and a working missile counter
* Custom first-person animations for the beam cannon, including firing missiles, charging, firing, and melee (with the oddball)
* A Metroid hatchling as the oddball and flag that moves inside its' containment pod, with custom idle animation
* Stunning beam FX and a unique gameplay experience with 4 different balanced beams to choose from
* Be rewarded with a healthpack as you kill your enemies or snag one from a downed ally, which adds a new element to the gameplay experience

Thoughts:
I would like to thank map encryption for making my life a living hell. I re-organized the tags so that one could extract and re-use the various tags with ease. Major components were renamed and each dependency should be found within each tag folder such as "samus", "talloniv-power_beam", etc.

Metroid Prime has an amazing OST (I say despite still having not finished it... LMAO), so it would be criminal not to utilize it.

Tallon IV Overworld RC1's rain was bugged in both Custom Edition and MCC, so I reverted to Tallon IV's rain--which actually falls down.

I decided to also use Tallon IV shaders because while they aren't as shiny, color permutations actually work with them.

Oh, I also made a special spot available, and to access it, all you have to do is [REDACTED].

- RXK1NG - Believe or not, this is the first map I wanted to port, but I couldn't because I didn't (and still don't) know s***. When I first asked for help in the halomods discord, this kind-hearted genteleman was the first person to come to me AND WAS WILLING TO GUIDE ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PORTING PROCESS STEP BY STEP! He may have not taught me everything, but he set me off along the right path, and if it wasn't for him, I would not have gotten this far and I would still be doing. . . something, idk.

- "Invader" tool developers - I only know of Snowy and Vaporeon. Regardless of who or how many are involved, know that not only did you ease my suffering, your tool probably pushed me to get tasks done that I otherwise would not have. Thank you.

- InfernoPlus - I'm pretty sure he did something. Something about globals. . . yeah, yeah, he helped.

- The Halo Modding Reclaimers - Because why not?

IMPORTANT:
MAKE SURE TO DISABLE CUSTOM STARTING EQUIPMENT FOR ALL MODES EXCEPT CTF AND ODDBALL!

This is the only way you can currently spawn with all four weapons. If you have four weapons in ctf or oddball, you won't have any more room to pick up the objective.

This is the general overview off the top of my head; I can't say if this information is 100% accurate, as it's been a while since I've last actually worked on a mod/port. However, this should be enough to set you in the right direction, and it's nothing that the intelligent helpers at the Reclaimers or Halo Mods communities cannot iron out. :)

Take a glance at the documentation, go to the Discords and ask for help.
That's what I did. I'll start you off by telling you what exactly I think you need to do to accomplish this.

- First, get all the Metroid related files: (I'll provide you with the models, weapons, and all their dependencies)
- Make a copy of all the Halo CE campaign files.
- Replace the default global files with the Metroid global files (or copy paste all relevant fields from the Metroid into the default Halo one)
- Now replace the health and grenade powerups in each campaign level with the Metroid health and missile powerups.

If you are asking whether its possible in general: Yes.
If you are asking whether I am willing to do it: No.

However if you or someone else is willing to make that mod, I will be more than happy to share my knowledge and the necessary files.

Question will it be possible for you to have the Samus weapons and model to replace chief in the campaign? i think it will be real fun to go through halo as samus.
