Bypass the CD Projekt RED Launcher to run The Witcher 3

Since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen update was released, Steam launches a secondary launcher created by CD Projekt Red to promote their other titles. Bypass this launcher with this launch command.

To bypass the CD PROJEKT RED launcher

1. Right click on the Witcher 3, in Steam library;
   
2. Under "Launch Options" type: "--launcher-skip" (that's two dashes before launcher)
   
3. Close that window.
   
   Done.

Hey @diedialtieri,
Witcher 3 normally launches via the CD Projekt RED Launcher. You only bypass it if you add the launch option to skip it.
I have no idea what happens on a PS5.

estou tentando fazer crossave do meu the witcher 3 do pc para o ps5 mas quando vou abrir as recompensas pelo pc diz q preciso conectar com a Redlauncher - alguém sabe me dizer como fazer isso ?

@yudzhint I play W3 on Linux and have to skip launcher and switch to DirectX 11 as well. Both playtime and achievements are tracked without any issues.

Has anyone solved the problem of hours and achievements? How do I get Steam to track this?

If you need to launch DX11 with this guide:
1) open game folder
2) open launcher-configuration.json
3) find line ' "fallback": "DirectX 12" '. Change 12 to 11.
4) Enjoy DX11 version start.
