you could just take some of the images out of the file for the texture pack to not have the ones you dont like

something that bothers me about this is stuff like the toxic flask.

it's just worse now.

I appreciate yall leaving your thoughts on this, i'm still trying to improve at this and i still got a ways to go, it's nice to know what i need to improve and work on and what i should avoid doing. I'll be sure to take these into thought next time I make a pack.

all of these sprites are pretty solid

I have similar sentiments to ankh and Spookypizza. A fair few of these resprites look really good (the Nimbus Rod, Wand of Sparking and spell tomes are good examples), the rest I either have mixed opinions on, are better than the original but just too minor to notice half the time, and the remaining ones are just bad. I have a feeling that if you made a separate pack that didn't resprite EVERY mage weapon, and only the ones that you (or others) were personally really happy with, it'd be much more consistent overall in terms of quality. In this pack's current state it's kind of a mixed bag. Some weapons are really cool !!! And the others are kind of a turn off. An arbitrary goal like respriting all of a certain weapon class, without sufficient thought, usually just ends up with a sea of items that just didn't get the love they deserve.

a handful of this is really cool (those gem staves look great) but stuff like the poison and venom staff look significantly worse, very flat.

and then the rest is just *slightly* worse than the originals.

it looks very amateur and like you don't fully understand the original sprites. especially the resonance scepter and rainbow rod.

if this was just the gem staves and magic harp, it would be amazing, but it's not.
