Questline: Missing Chickens

A guide for the quest given by Worzel Scrumpy. He lost his chickens and want you to find them.

Quest: Missing Chickens

You start the quest by interacting with Worzel Scrumpy. He will tell you he lost his 3 chickens and need help to find them. He says they can be found in "The Vale", which is basicly 1/4 of the map.

If you want, you can interact with the townsfolk until someone tells you: "Lost chickens, you say? I heard some clucking when I was in the woods recently. Funny-sounding cuckoos I thought!".

You can also just head to Cuckoo Wood, and get them without the hassle of prompting the message.

Worzel Scrumpy's chickens can be located at the bottom of the map in Cuckoo Wood, there is a little alcove to left, where they are hiding.
The specific location is marked on the map below.

Returning the chickens to Worzel

Get all 3 chickens to follow you. Then take them to Tasty Acres, where Worzel Scrumpy is located. You can use any transport method you prefer, as the chickens follow you as your pet would.

When you arrive at Tasty Acre, just lead the chickens to the coop, right next to the farmhouse. Shown on picture below:

When "close" to the coop the chickens will automatically unfollow you, and you can go to Worzel Scrumpy and complete your quest.

Reward: 30 Brass, 19 FP.

Because your a master chicken herder, Worzel asks you to go check the noticeboard in Poppyhill, to continue your quest.

Missing chickens in Poppyhill

When in Poppyhill, go check the noticeboard. It will have a notice with missing chickens.
Find Rose Thorn, who can be found at her home in Homesteads or strolling around in Poppyhill. When found ask her about the missing chickens.

Just like last time, you can go interact with the townfolk of Poppyhill to get a tip on the chickens location.

I got the tip from Roger Readily, but you'll properly be able to get it from any named townfolk who you are in friendly terms with.

Well, the meassage is: "Lost chickens, you say? I heard some clucking when I had a romantic walk recently."

Just like last time, you dont have to prompt this message to find the chickens. Just head to Loverwood where they are hiding.

When in Loverwood head to the bottom right cornor of the map, there you'll find another hidden alcove where the 3 chickens are hidning.

Returning the chickens to Rose Thorn

Get all 3 chickens to follow you. Then take them to Homesteads, where Rose Thorn is located. You can use any transport method you prefer, as the chickens follow you as your pet would.

When you arrive at Homesteads, just lead the chickens to the coop, right next to the farmhouse. Shown on picture below:

When "close" to the coop the chickens will automatically unfollow you, and you can go to Rose Thorn and complete this part of the quest.

Reward: 40 Brass, 30 FP.

Now Rose Thorn is asking you to go check the noticeboard in Mellowbrooks, because they have problems with missing chickens too!

Missing chickens in Mellowbrooks

When arriving at the noticeboard in Mellowbrooks you'll see that Frogg the Hermit is missing some of his chickens too.

If he is not strolling about in Mellowbrooks he can be found at Outlane. Ask him about his missing chickens.

Found Roses chickens but it doesnt activate? like I brought them back and its still telling me to find them

Thanks to the comment from @car0NT I was able to find the location of the third set of chickens. They're in the Mellowbrook map, on the northwest side of the map. Go through the green arches, and the third one will take you to a small area.

Hello guys, I found the chickens, but haven't had the time to finish the guide.

I hope I'll get it done in my vacation. - Can't get the message tip from the townfolk of Mellowbrook, might be a bug? If anyone might be able to input what they say in the comment's, that would be great :)

Froggs the Hermit's chickens are in Mellowbrook, Mellowfields (a little to the left, as if we're going to Outlane, there is a "mine").
