The Callisto Protocol 100% Achievement Guide

Missable achievements: Yes (Grim Reaper and The Protocol is About Life)
Minimum number of playthroughs: 5
Co-op / Online Achievements: 0
Difficulty required for 100%: Yes (Maximum Security, Hardcore Mode, Contagion Mode)
Time to 100%: 40 to 75 hours

Note:
With the updates, you now require 5 runs for the 100%. You need to:
1 - Beat the game in Normal Mode on Maximum Security
2 - Beat the game in Hardcore Mode
3 - Beat Hardcore Mode NG+
4 - Start a NG+ from your Maximum Security run to upgrade all weapons and items. Set the difficulty to Minimum Security and kill and collect everything.
5 - Beat the game in Contagion Mode deathless. Do this with your NG+ Minimum Security run so you can practice each chapter. Do a chapter in Normal Mode then do it in Contagion Mode. I provide more detail below under the "You Belong Here" achievement.

This is a completely hand written guide. Any item / collectable you need can be found by using CTRL + F and entering what you're looking for in the text box.
Story Achievements
The Outer Way Find the Outer Way boarding craft Story related, cannot be missed.

Desperate Times Elias gives Jacob a shiv Story related, cannot be missed.

Paper Jams Print a weapon for the first time Story related, cannot be missed.

If the SHU Fits... Activate the SHU Story related, cannot be missed.

Without a Paddle Survive the pipeslide Story related, cannot be missed.

Crash Site Return to the crashed ship Story related, cannot be missed.

In the Pipe, Five by Five Reach the Hangar flight deck Story related, cannot be missed.

Power Up Restore power to the old facility Story related, cannot be missed.

Two Heads are Better Than One Take down the two-head Story related, cannot be missed.

What Lies Beneath Find the source Story related, cannot be missed.

Full Circle Get thrown back into original cell Story related, cannot be missed.

Combat / Upgrade Achievements
Reforged Print a weapon upgrade Use a reforger to print an upgrade for a weapon. Can be done right after you print your first weapon if you have the money required.

Flesh Wound Use melee or ranged weapons to take both arms off a living enemy Simply shoot both arms off any enemy. This is almost unmissable.

Terminated Take down a security robot You can get this as early as chapter 3. When tasked with either destroying the robot or sneaking past it, shoot it in the head a few times and you'll get this achievement.

You Need a Gun Fully Upgrade One Weapon Simply upgrade any weapon fully using Callisto Credits at a reforger.

Armed to the Teeth Purchase all weapons and upgrades Upgrade all weapons fully using Callisto Credits at a reforger. You'll get this on your NG+ run depending on difficulty. I added the locations for gun schematics to the Grim Reaper section below. You can search for them by using ctrl + f and typing "GUN" into the box (without quotation marks). Or just follow the guide and you'll get them as you collect the bio logs.

Giving Back Stab five blind enemies in the back You'll encounter blind enemies during chapter 6. Simply sneak up behind them and press the prompt to stab them in the back.

Float Like a Butterfly Perfect dodge five times Perfectly dodge an enemy attack 5 times. This might take some time. You'll know if the dodge was perfect or not because the game will slow down if you get a perfect dodge. This is all about timing.

Chew 'Em Up Kill ten enemies with environmental hazards You need to push or shoot enemies into hazards such as traps, machinery, explosives, etc.

Workplace Hazard Use GRP to kill an enemy by throwing them into an environmental hazard Same as above achievement. Use your GRP module to throw an enemy into an environmental hazard.

Get a Grip Grab twenty-five enemies with the GRP Same as above achievement. Use your GRP module grab an enemy. Do this 25 times.

In Striking Distance Kill an enemy via GRP and a melee combo Throw an enemy into a wall using your GRP module to damage it. Then finish it off with melee attacks.
Grim Reaper / Misc Achievements
Mugshot Take a photo using photo mode Open photo mode via the menu while playing and take a picture.

The Commonality Uncover the mystery of Kallipolis You'll unlock this while going for the Grim Reaper achievement. You need the data bio in chapter 3, Duncan Cole, and the bio in chapter 6, Yannick Sage.

Grim Reaper Harvest and read all implant bios There are 43 bios to collect. The achievement should unlock after collecting 42 of them. It's a known bug that hasn't been patched. The final bio might not count so don't risk skipping any of the others. Chapter 1: Cargo 1 - Jacob Lee - Jacob's Job - At the start of the game, walk out of the cockpit and enter the first door on the left marked "Unlocked". The bio is inside the locker beside the bed. Chapter 2: Outbreak 2 - Cpt. Leon Ferris - Ferris's Lament - Found on top of a table after taking the lift to the lower level. 3 - Dr. Caitlyn Mahler - Mahler's Appointment - At the end of the hallway left of Surgery M112, after sneaking past the security robot. 4 - Elias Porter - Elias's Anticipation - After obtaining the Stun Baton, go to Elias's cell. It's in the area with 3 enemies before going upstairs. Chapter 3: Aftermath 5 - Sgt. Eric Jane - Locked Door - Unmissable 6 - Ofc. Pruitt Matos - Laundry - Past the room with hanging laundry sacks moving along a conveyor. Take the door to the right and go down to the laundry room. The bio in the back. 7 - Duncan Cole - Secret Room 1 - Take the door opposite to the one you used to get to the laundry. Go down the ramp and continue straight, use the shiv to open the locked door. Go through the very long vent, follow the path, and jump down the hole. The bio is in the blue room at the end of the tunnel. 8 - Dr. Ewan Hayes - MedLab Outbreak - After making it to medical, the bio is on the corpse in front of you. 9 - Ofc. Dachs Symmons - Hanged Guard - After entering the room with the hanging corpses, the bio will be to the right. 10 - Ofc. Kerry Brown - After talking the elevator, the bio is in the basement area on the opposite side of the fan, near the crate. GUN - The SKUNK gun schematic is down here too. Use the fuse on the door near where the elevator crashed and enter the vent. 11 - Tadhg Song - After meeting up with Elias and using the tram. Climb the platforms to your left and the bio is on a corpse. 12 - Dani Nakamura - After the cutscene with Elias. The bio is in the cell. Chapter 4: Habitat 13 - Dr. Caitlyn Mahler - Corruptors - After seeing a new enemy type and exiting the waste water, take a right and climb both ladders. The bio is up there. 14 - Ofc. Bruno Vorenus - Crosswired - In the room where you fight the new enemy type, the bio is next to the access hall door. 15 - Dr. Jae Moon-Bell - Cocoons - Don't enter the water control room after using the fuse. Continue down the path and unlock the door with your shiv. The bio is at the end of the area after solving the fuse puzzle. 16 - Ofc. James Reese - Suicide Guard - Unmissable 17 - Ofc. James Reese - Security - Enter the room labeled "Botanical" to the left of the room "Oxygen Processing" and the bio is at the end. 18 - Sgt. Bill Pekelo - Unmissable 19 - Ofc. Kyle Serra - Evacuation - After making it to Utility, unlock the door to your left using the shiv. The bio is at the back. Chapter 5: Lost 20 - Miranda Kristofich - Terraforming - After the cutscene with Elias and Dani, run past the building with "C2" on its side. The bio is in the smaller building towards the back. 21 - Richard Cids - After crossing the bridge, there are 2 rooms enemies open during the holdout section. The bio is in the dead end room, NOT the room leading to the tunnels. 22 - Dr. Caitlyn Mahler - Combustors - After entering the tunnels and crawling through the narrow passage, the bio is in the room to your left. 23 - Lt. Devon Wayne - Close the Gate - Unmissable 24 - Ofc. Aaron Taycho - Unmissable 25 - Max Barrow - Max's Concern - After making it back to your ship, this bio is in the room next to your room. 26 - Sgt. Scott Dvitny - Eradication - After the ship cutscene you'll enter a new area. Squeeze through the large door and to the left is the bio. 27 - Dr. Caitlyn Mahler - Shipments - This bio is in the room with all the damaged security robots towards the back near the staircase. Chapter 6: Below 28 - Dr. Sheehan Yune - Field Log 1 - After the new enemy type, continue down the stairs until you can drop down from a ledge. The Bio is on the table across from where you land. GUN - The Tactical Pistol Schematic is found after jumping over the short barricade past the room with 4 blind enemies. The schematic is to your right on a desk. 29 - Dr. Sheehan Yune - Field Log 2 - After crawling through the tunnel where the hand tries to grab you, proceed forward. Clear the 4 blind enemies in the following room. Walk up the small staircase and to the left is the bio above a breakable box. 30 - Dr. Sheehan Yune - Field Log 3 - After collecting the keycard, go back and unlock the access junction. The bio is at the end of the first tunnel to your right. 31 - Yannick Sage - Secret Room 2 - Progress through the power station until you reach a ladder that takes you up to the power reactor control room. Once at the top, directly in front of you will be a crevice in the wall. Proceed through that wall. The bio is at the end of this section. If you also got the first secret room, this will unlock The Commonality achievement. 32 - Arden Jeddha - Arcas Evacuation - After restoring power and surviving the lift section, the bio is to your left as you exit the lift. Chapter 7: Colony 33 - Alex Wang - Miner Log 1 - As soon as chapter 7 begins, the bio is down the stairs to your left on a corpse. 34 - Derryn Barr - Miner Log 2 - After speaking with Dani, proceed forward and you'll see a ladder you have to climb down, don't. The bio is on the shelf past it. 35 - Derryn Barr - Miner Log 3 - In the following area with more blind enemies, there is a ladder you can climb. The word MIDTOWN is written next to it. Climb it, turn right and take the door to your left. The bio is in this room. GUN - The Assault Rifle Schematic is past the general store on this upper level where the previous bio log was collected. It's in the restroom on the sink. 36 - Yannick Sage - The Mole - After riding the elevator up, the bio is outside on the corpse. 37 - Buidhe Reddwork - HighTown - At the top of the 2nd staircase you'll be in Hightown. The bio is in the room to the right. 38 - Ji-Kwan Park - Miner Log 4 - After using the fuse at the top of Hightown, the bio is on a corpse at the top of the ladder near the reforger. 39 - Duncan Cole - Disagreement - After the dome section and riding the lift, the bio is through the door near the reforger. Chapter 8: Tower 40 - Dr. Tala Ismene - Observation - Enter Panopticon Surveillance after using the fuse. Take a left and the bio is to your right, opposite of the locked door. 41 - Dr. Tala Ismene - Taken - The bio is on top of a biohazard container after crawling through the vent. 42 - Edward Bates - Experimentation - Once at the lab, you'll encounter some turrets the doc will power down. Proceed through the door and pick up the bio to your right. This should unlock the achievement. 43 - Duncan Cole - Cole's Triumph - Found on a table to your right after entering Cole's private quarters.
Difficulty Achievements
The Protocol is About Life Beat the game on Maximum Security difficulty When starting a new save, choose the Maximum Security difficulty and complete the game without changing the difficulty.

Recidivist Finish Game in Hardcore Mode When starting a new save, choose Hardcore Mode and complete the game without changing the difficulty.

Lifer Finish Game in Hardcore Mode NG+ Beat the game in Hardcore Mode and then complete it again.

Parole Denied Finish New Game Plus Mode Stack this with your Hardcore NG+ run.

Glutton for Punishment Finish Game in Contagion Mode When starting a new save, choose Contagion Mode and complete the game.

You Belong Here Finish Game in Contagion Mode Without Dying When starting a new save, choose Contagion Mode and complete the game without dying. Easily the most difficult achievement in this game. A few things you want to do: - Turn off cloud saves for The Callisto Protocol and keep a backup of your save to revert to if you die. Right click The Callisto Protocol in your Steam Library > go to "Properties" > turn off cloud saving. - Your save can be found here: C:/Users/”Username”/Appdata/Local/CallistoProtocol/Saved. Copy the entire content of this folder to a new folder and save it on your desktop after each chapter. If you die, replace the save with the back up on your desktop. Don't feel bad about doing this. You already need 5 miserably long runs to 100% this game. Don't make it 6+. - Do your Contagion Mode run alongside your NG+ Minimum Security run to practice each chapter. A few areas you want to practice are: The trap in Chapter 2 (know where each of the 3 enemies spawn so they don't push you into the trap), The Security Bots (they only take 4-5 shots to kill but will one hit you), the water slide in Chapter 3 (the fans will end your run), the fall after the ship is shot down in Chapter 4, and Two-Head (it can one hit you).

Riot Mode Achievements
Instigator Complete Riot Mode for the first time Just play Riot Mode and complete a run of any length.

Big Game Hunter Complete Wave 50 Riot Mode is set to the easiest difficulty. It's fairly difficult to die and you also unlock upgrades you can activate at the start of a run based on your highest score ever. So even if you don't make it to wave 50 during your first run, subsequent runs will be easier.

Big Spender Spend 20,000 Credits You'll get well over 50,000 credits going to wave 50. Completing the bonus objective that refunds your next 3 purchases is a good way to get this early. You can purchase weapon upgrades which can be upwards of 5,000 credits each for free.

I am the Danger Dismember 100 limbs in Riot Mode Upgrade your baton early and melee enemies often. The melee is really powerful in this mode because the difficulty is so low.

Bear Trap Kill a Two-Head with a Hazard Two-Heads spawn every 10 waves. In order to activate a trap, you need to purchase a fuse switch. Multiple can be owned at once.

Hoard Mode Survive five consecutive waves without spending any Credits This is easy to complete early as there are fewer enemies. You can also go five waves without purchases at later waves once you have a good stockpile of supplies.

Subject Alpha Use the Power-up 10 times Use rampage mode 10 times during your run. The meter will fill every couple of waves by defeating enemies.
DLC: Final Transmission Achievements
Keep Fighting Killed your first Biobot! Cannot be missed.

It's Time Obtain the Kinetic Hammer Cannot be missed.

One Last Job Finish Final Transmission Cannot be missed.

Quick Pick Solve any Security Lock System in less than 7 seconds Go to: Options > Accesibility > Combat Assists. Turn on QTE Single Press and QTE Auto Complete. Puzzles will now automatically complete and give the achievement. The first chance you have to complete this is after making it to the doctor's lab.

This Isn't About Escape Locate the Escape Pod During the objective, "Find a path through the hallway passages.", you'll be walking around in a loop. Continue through the loop until you reach a room with a gate fuse underneath a sign reading "TURN BACK". Take the fuse and turn back. After going through two doors, you'll come to a dead end with two doors and place where you can use the fuse. Go through the door in front of you. The achievement will pop when you reach the escape pod. There is a chance the achievement will glitch and not unlock. Keep an auto save before this section so you can try it again if you need to.

Don't Let It Mellow Destroy all Hammer Crates on the Factory Floor After you unlock the hammer, clear out all the yellow boxes in the room you obtained the hammer, the hallway leading to the factory, and the factory floor.

Information Overload Find all 8 Protocol Data Drives 1 - On the table after the cutscene with Caitlyn at the start of the DLC. 2 - Remove the fuse on the lower level of the main cell block and use it to enter disciplinary confinement. The data is to your right. You need to go around the room to reach it. 3 - After making it through the vent and dropping down the hole, restore power to the door near you. With your back to the door, walk forward and take the door to your right. Continue down the path and activate both switches to restore power. Backtrack to the door and enter it. Then take the door to your left and enter the hole. The data is in bunker at the end. 4 - Back towards the switches you activated to restore power is a crevice you can enter. Pass through it and take the door to your right. Take the following door to your right and the data is in the room next to the security bot. 5 - Past the door to your left after climbing up the ladder leading out of the waste water. The data is on a biohazard container to your right. 6 - You'll see some security bots moving across a conveyor after solving the 2nd security lock. The data is to the left near the reforger. 7 - After the vent section with traps, take the door opposite from where you land. Proceed down the path and open the door to your left using your shiv. Enter the room to your left and pick up the fuse. Exit the room and take a left. Proceed down the hallway and use the fuse to unlock the last door on your left. The data is in that room. 8 - After taking the elevator and being tasked with finding 3 fuses, break the yellow crates next to the reforger. The data is to your left behind some crates.

Higher difficulties have reduced credit drops and enemy drops are also random. So you could do everything exactly the same and still be short a few credits because of bad luck. The linked video is only on Hardcore Mode and not Contagion Mode.

Upgrades carry over to NG+ so bad luck won't lock you out from getting an achievement.

I watched the video with walkthrough but i didn't get how he could buy the final riot gun upgrade because he already bought the second upgrade for the force glove. I've done everything but still can't realize where i can find 2700 callisto credits. It looks like unfair play with hacks because i have only 900 credits at the same time and place like on video. :gordon:

"you need a gun" is bugged? just got the pistol fully upgraded and didnt get the achivement. Anyone got a fix?

This Isn't About Escape is missable. If you turn back in the loop section before finding the fuse, you will miss the achievement.

bear trap - environmental traps twoheads every ten rounds
maybe its been changed but i was waiting each ten rounds did not see them every ten rounds
just some info i went upto 42 some waves had em some didnt on 10s some had multiple
just mentioning as seems might be random? sometimes

Just a quick update:

11 of the bio logs were moved so I updated that section. I added the locations of weapon schematics too so you can get them as you collect logs. I also added all of the recently added achievements. I just have a few more logs to update for the DLC and the guide will be 100% complete . . . again.
