How To Change The Tags In NFS Unbound:

Go to Garage
You need to head over to Rides
Then go to Style
Select Driving Effects
Select Tags
In the Tags section, you will find an effect called Cloaked.

The truth is you can’t turn off the driving effects fully, however, the Cloaked tag is the best you will get to having the driving effects off.

The recent update just added the original tags, which has realistic smokes, realistic nitrous, no wing in burst nitrous and car flying, and any popping logos that shows up on the car roof are disabled. So that, you guys can use the Original Tags to remove the driving effects.

The effects rock and I'm glad Criterion was bold enough to flip the bird to purists.

Thanks. Regrettably, it doesn't correct the game's overall tryhard art style, no-effort celshaded characters that are completely disconnected from the look of the cars/world, awful soundtrack, anticonsumer monetization, and the horrible cringe-inducing writing and acting.

"NFS" Unfinished makes Heat look like the Undergrounds.

NFS Heat sucks, its reputation mechanic made gameplay during the night and day both suck.

I like how most of the players suggest nfs heat...but how do you play the NFS Unbound story on NFS Heat? XD

If you don't like Unbound's art style then play Heat, there's no need to disable it.

I don't mind the effects, it doesn't distract me when playing Need for Speed Unbound. In fact, I find them quite interesting.

For those wishing to completely turn them off, play NFS Heat. :nfsnoise:
