Weapon combinations in CS:GO

You've just started playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but you don't know what weapons to select. This guide will help you what weapon combinations (Classes) are best.

Beginning

Welcome! In this guide, I'll show you the best weapon combinations (We'll call them Classes,) and how to use them!

If you have any good Classes that you use, let me know in the comments!

Without further adue, Let's begin!

Rifleman

WEAPONS

Primary: M4A4, AK47, FAMAS, or GALIL.

Secondary: Any kind of Pistol.

HOW TO USE THESE WEAPONS

Follow the other players, and try to stay in a group. When you see an enemy at long range, make sure you stop moving, crouch (optional, but gives better aim,) and fire in short, controlled bursts. When you see an enemy in close range, make sure that they don't see you. If they do, then either walk slowly or don't move, and fire in slightly longer bursts. When your primary ammo is out, find a nearby enemy, and either try to backstab him, or get a headshot with your secondary. If he's carrying a primary weapon, take it.

Heavy Weapons Guy

WEAPONS

Primary: Any Heavy Weapon.

Secondary: Desert Eagle.

HOW TO USE THESE WEAPONS

As the Heavy Weapons Guy, you can lead your team to the enemies. If you picked a Shotgun, then you'll be more reliant on your Desert Eagle. If you picked a Machine Gun, then you'll be less reliant. Because you have the biggest gun, you'll be slower, making you a primary target for Snipers. However, if you can coordinate with your team, they can make a formation around you in order to prevent a Sniper from killing you. For example, have one player stand to the right of you, one to the left of you, and one behind you. The reason why they shouldn't be in front is because you need room to fire at enemies coming from the front. With your Machine Gun, you can take out enemies quickly, but with the cost of speed and accuracy. With a Shotgun, you'll do more damage at closer ranges, mainly corners and hallways. If you are alone, and you're being attacked from afar, use your Desert Eagle to snipe the enemies.

Sniper

WEAPONS

Primary: SSG 08, AWP, G3SG1, or SCAR-20.

Secondary: Desert Eagle or Dual Berettas.

HOW TO USE THE WEAPONS

As a Sniper, you are less reliant on your team and more reliant on finding a good camping spot. As a Sniper, your goal is to take out enemies with slow movement, or are harming your team considerably. With your Sniper Rifle, make sure you are in a good spot (Such as near a bombsite if you're a Counter-Terrorist, or near CT Spawn if you're a Terrorist) and try to kill enemies by shooting them in the head. If you've been found by an enemy, run away, while firing at them with your Desert Eagle or your Dual Berettas. Afterwards, try to find another spot.

Assassain

WARNING! This set is for those who know what they're doing! Also, I don't know what the best situation to use this is, so be careful with this set!

WEAPONS

Primary: Any SMG or Shotgun.

Secondary: Desert Eagle or a suppressed weapon (Unlockable.)

Equipment: Zeus x27 and Flashbang/Smoke Grenade.

HOW TO USE THESE WEAPONS

Since you are an Assassain, your goal isn't as simple as others. Instead, you should use this class if everyone else on your team dies quickly, or if there is a target that needs to be killed quickly. Make sure to hold down SHIFT if there are enemies nearby, so they cannot locate you easily. Instead, run at them with you knife if they know that there are teammates nearby, and they'll most likely mistake your footsteps for their or their friends. If they're still unknowing, back stab them and run, as the enemy team'll know that there's an enemy player trying to kill them. If they know that you're around knifing people, try to kill them with your Desert Eagle or suppressed weapon. Another good technique is to use your Flashbang to blind them, and use your knife to backstab him. If you're exposed, use your Smoke Grenade, and try to run.
