The world-famous Field Artillery now has a single-shot counterpart. The Single-Shot Artillery fires one hyper-dense 12-inch diameter cannonball with great accuracy, better suitable for long-range combat.

The ball weighs 1200 kilograms and is propelled to over 180 miles per hour, inflicting massive damage against personnel and breakable structures. The propellant for the cannonball now consists of 13 bombs for higher muzzle velocity (as opposed to 9 bombs for the Field Artillery), and the cannon is effective at ranges of up to 400 meters.

The cannon sits on a fully functional carriage, which bears slight resemblance to the French Gribeauval gun carriages of the Napoleonic Wars. While heavy, the carriage can be roped to another (equally heavy) vehicle to transport the cannon. In addition to being towed, the carriage has 2 sets of wheels: one which propels it forward, in conjunction with a second set which traverses it left and right. As a result the Single-Shot Artillery can be moved anywhere anytime, despite weighing a staggering 15 tonnes.

FIRING MALFUNCTIONS: If the oxygen canister does not successfully detonate the cannon, you can shoot the backup oxygen canister located on the rear of the barrel.

WARNING: If you are in the vicinity of the cannon you will be killed by blast damage. The sights (NUMPAD 0) allow use of the cannon remotely.
