Congress Poland

Description
Congress Poland, formally known as the Kingdom of Poland, was a polity created in 1815 by the Congress of Vienna as a semi-autonomous Polish state, a successor to Napoleon's Duchy of Warsaw. It was established in the ethnically Polish lands ceded by the French to the Russian Empire following Napoleon's defeat. In 1915, during World War I, it was replaced by the German-controlled nominal Regency Kingdom until Poland regained independence in 1918.

This mod releases Poland as a nation in a personal union with Russia. It doesn't have any unique mechanics at the moment.

@Isadore Chesterman-Wynndale no, duchy of warsaw was under poniatowski when napoleon was still cool. congress of poland is a russian subject untill the november uprising if i remeber right

Because this mod is no longer supported I made my own Congress Poland with more historiacly accurate laws.

Wasn't it the Duchy of Warsaw?

If it was the Kingdom of Poland in 1812, that's little consolation for what came when the Russians went steamrolling to Paris.

You have a basic historical error here: the Kingdom of Poland was established in 1812 on the initiative of Napoleon Bonaparte. The title of king belonged to the king of Saxony, who renounced it in favor of the Tsar of Russia, and that is why Russia had the opportunity to obtain Polish lands at the Congress of Vienna.

Oh, and onother thing, more technical - all of the Congress Poland states are "split" with Russia. I suppose it shouldn't work like that.

There's a bug with the polish states, making it so you can't release them once annexed
