Poker Night 2: How to find the tells!
De Ojomie
I have learned nearly all the tells that everyone does! They can range from knowing they have a good or bad hand and might or might not be bluffing! I will cover every characters tells that I have uncovered and what exactly buying a drink for someone does!

Brock
Brock is the type of player that can be smart or really stupid at anytime. He usually folds most of the time waiting for a good hand but bluffs a lot if he doesn't get a strong hand. He has around four different tells going from very bad hand to an amazing hand!

---Very Bad Hand----
This is really really noticeable as it can be heard and seen. Brock will furiously slam the table and have that crazy Brock face for two seconds. This means he has jack. If he continues to bet or go on with any hand you should raise or make him fold or string him along with your better hand. If you have a pair or better call Brock out on this.

---Ok Hand---
This can be really noticeable as it's seen a lot when Brock is deciding on what to do next. He will itch his head and say the famous quote, ''Uhh I don't know I ahh....''.That means he's going to raise or call and stay in the hand or very rarely fold and know what's good for him. If you have a pair or anything better call Brock out on this and bet until he folds or you go into a show down.

---Good Hand---
Now this is the hardest to see as it's very quick. Brock will look up at everyone and smile for two seconds then proceed to act normal again. This could mean Brock has a better hand or equal to a pair or 2 pairs or even a 3 of a kind. If you have a flush or better call him out on this hand.

---Amazing Hand---
This is hard to notice as Brock does many things to show this emotion. Such as just smiling for a couple of seconds, Looking around with a small smile, or just betting and raising a lot. This means Brock has a better or equal to hand of a flush, straight, 4 of a kind, or higher! If you happen to be that lucky guy with a Royal Flush call him out on this otherwise, fold!

---Bluffing Wins---
If Brock bluffed and won he will tell you about it. Once he has bluffed and won this means he will bluff a lot more often. It could even be the next hand! You might want to catch Brock when he bluffs sooner than later after he wins when he does because then you won't really know when he is or if he isn't!
Claptrap
Claptrap is the character that doesn't bluff unless it's a huge reward or a lot of people are still in the hand. He normally stays in every pot just calling and checking but when he does ''Bluff'' or have a good hand it's hard to notice! As well as everyone else he has four tells going from very bad hand to an amazing hand!

---Very Bad Hand---
This can be noticeable as it can be Claptrap randomly falling of his chair or just looking around the table, then looking sad looking down at his bad hand. Claptrap though is the hardest person to find tells since he is a robot and really doesn't ''need'' to show them. If you have a pair or better Call Claptrap out and string him along or make him fold.

---Ok Hand---
Now Claptrap has a lot of things to show this hand as well as when he's talking. Saying things like ''Damm G! Look at all that cheddar!'' or just singing a little tune can show you he has an ok hand that really isn't gonna get him anywhere. The only visible tell I found for this was just him zooming in on the pot with his eye hoping he can somehow win this. If you have a pair or better call Claptrap out on this hand.

---Good Hand---
Once again Claptrap has more talking tells than visible tells for this one. When Claptrap is deciding and says ''Ehhh'' that means he has a pretty good hand and is thinking what should he do with it. This can be followed by going all in, raising, or even folding! The only visible tells I could spot is he looks around at everyone and kinda gives himself a nod. This could mean he can have a pair, 2 pairs, or 3 of a kind or better. If you have a flush or better call him out on this hand.

---Amazing Hand---
This is the hardest to find about claptrap since there's really only one tell he actually says that give this away and only 1 visible tell. He might clap his hands or do a little tap movement with his hands showing he really likes these cards. If Claptrap says ''I'm SOO into these cards'' you can tell from just logic that hes holding on to these cards for a reason. If you have a straight or higher call him out on these if you can spot them.

---Bluffing Wins---
Claptrap will say ''So this is what you humans call bluffing, because really, I had NOTHING!'' This means like Brock Claptrap will bluff a lot more often and it will be most likely the next hand. This can be very hard to stop from happening since Claptrap is a very sneaky robot.
Ash
Ash is the player who bets and raises and goes all in every single time he can. Even if he has a bad hand he will consider trying to trick you and win by bluffing. Just like everyone he has four tells going from very bad hand to an amazing hand!

---Very Bad Hand---
This is noticeable as Ash will give himself a huge facepalm then kinda slam his hands on the table with a sad look. It can be heard but is a little more silent than Brock's slam. This means Ash is not doing too hot and might try to bluff his way into victory. If you have a pair or better consider calling Ash out or betting more to make him fold.

---Ok Hand---
These are noticeable as Ash talks and shows visible tells. Ash will say ''Wendy and I could repair the oldsmoville with that money'' or ''Think, think, think!'' or '' "Woo doggy, that's a lot of simoleons...". He will also have a very hard to see tell with his robot hand. For a mere second he will tap his hand on the table to show hes nervous and will most likely start to bluff. If you have a pair or better consider calling Ash out or betting more to make him fold.

---Good Hand---
These are the hardest to see/know about Ash as they are kind of vague tells. He will say ''Hold on..'' Meaning he's thinking about suckering everyone in to his good hand to win. He will also look around at everyone with a smile on his face then act normal two seconds later. These tells can be mixed with good and amazing hands so watch out if Ash does these! If you have a 3 of a kind or better consider calling Ash out or betting more to make him fold or start a showdown.

---Amazing Hand---
These are super hard to spot as they are mixed with good hands. There's really only one visible tell that only tells you he has an amazing hand. Ash will take his shotgun from his back and shower it over himself looking very pleased with himself. If you see this consider folding or if you have a hand of a 4 of a kind of better, you can go for it and call Ash out.

---Bluffing Wins---
Ash will say things like ''Poker ain't a game for cowards'' or ''That was easy, almost TOO easy'' when he wins a hand bluffing. This is a very smart play though for Ash as he will now bluff less than before to confuse the player into thinking he is! If he wins and says any of these lines, think twice before calling him out because he might just be legit now.
Sam
Sam is the smartest person on the table and most likely folds every hand. If he bets or raises it's because he has a trick up his sleeve. (And it might not be a bluff!) Just like everyone else he has 4 tells going from very bad hand to amazing hand.

---Very Bad Hand---
This is very noticeable as Sam will flop his head down on the table and look around with a sad face. You can hear his slam of his head and means he has nothing but old cop blues. If you have a pair or better call Sam out on this or make him fold, he may even just do it for you!

---Ok Hand---
These are somewhat noticeable as Max will say to Sam ''Ohhh Sam, think of all the hamdingers we could buy with that, ohh.'' Then followed by Sam ''Shh I'm thinking'' Or it can be noted that Sam will pick at his suit and tie, kind of pulling on it looking nervously. If you have a pair or better call Sam out on this or make him fold, he might just do it for you!

---Good Hand---
These are very hard to notice as they only show up for 2-3 seconds! Sam will say ''Ummmmmmm'' sounding very confused when deciding on what he will do, but just like Ash he will try to sucker you in by either betting more or calling. Also he will lift one finger to his chin and close his eyes and kind of sit there with a smile knowing he has a good hand, then will stop. If you have a flush or better call Sam out on this or try to make him fold because at this point he most likely will not.

---Amazing Hand---
This is not hard to see but is hard to notice for being an amazing hand. Sam will simply just have a big open smile most of the time and might mix some of the good hand tells with the amazing hand tells. If you have a straight or better call Sam out or try to make him fold because at this point he most likely will not.

---Bluffing Wins---
Sam, being the honest cop we all know and love will tell you about a bluff if he did one. He might say ''That was easy, almost too easy'' or ''Good thing you guys backed out, because I had a royal butterfly!'' Brock will follow on this and say ''That's not a real hand'' Then Sam will say ''Not yet'' admitting he was bluffing. Unlike any characters that change their play style when they win a bluff Sam will continue to play normally how he does, just considering that bluff to be a ''lucky win'' and will not try any less or any harder to do so, although if encouraged by Max to "bet it all" he most likely will continue betting even if once the flop happens he has garbage.
GLaDOS
Now you might be thinking whatever GLaDOS says doesn't help at all but that's where you're wrong.
GLaDOS gives small hits about the current hand involving everyone but you just have to listen and find them. For example when she says ''Victory is so close, for one of you'' shes saying that someone still in the hand has an amazing hand that should embrace it. If its not you, watch out!
Another tip she will say is normally after winning multiple hands in a row ''Lets see how you do when I don't stack the deck in your favor''. This means she will continue to give you less of a chance at the good cards and will feed you more garbage hole cards. So maybe stay low for awhile. She will also say ''You don't know what your doing do you?'' which means maybe you should calm down on the betting and a little more folding. That's really the only ones I found that actually have meaning in them. If you found others feel free to tell me in the comments!
Buying drinks for everyone
Some people still don't understand what buying drinks at the table does so this is to quickly wrap that up.
If you didn't read before hand when you first bought a drink, when you do so to any character it will increase their chances to give more tells away. This can mean for every hand you will get a tell from everyone or that person more likely than if you didn't buy them/him a drink. This could be very useful in games if you have spare tokens to use.
Conclusion
I do hope this helped any of you beginners or poker pros out there to learn more about when to hold them or to fold them! If you find more tells or any information you would like me to add, comment in the comment section below! Sam is usually good at hiding his reaction but if he gets an insane hand like two aces, sometimes he can't contain his reaction, and his eyes very briefly blow up and his hat will jump up off his head. Very quick tell, the hat just does a small little hop upwards a couple of inches and falls back down on his head.

I'm not sure if this is another tell Brock uses, but after the river was shown he laughed maniacally. I thought of it as one of his moments of psychosis and went all in, but it turns out that I had lost to a flush.
Good to know what Alt+F4 does in moments like these.

Sam usually folds and plays safe. I've seen him be dealt K/10 and still fold. But, if he does win a few hands and has more money then everybody else, he gets all excited and starts bluffing a lot or putting big raises up for mediocre hands.

Sam, while smart, is predictable and that's why he's my favourite player to settle down into a one-on-one with at the end; you can just fold over and over until he gets all yippy and then you know he's going to start bluffing like crazy.

All the talk about new tells really makes me want to play again to refresh my memory! Im going to play acouple hands and some games and I could add on to this guide more with a fresher experience haha. I was a lot younger when I first made the guide so I can see what I can touch up on.

Well this usually isn't an issue because if I'm being honest, Sam is the smartest opponent out of the others, Brock usually bets big and sometimes gets his ass kicked for it, William is the bluff lord and claptrap is just plain stupid, mostly folding most of the times and betting when he will lose.

Sam usually folds because he knows he will lose the pot with the hand he has and usually only bets when he actually has a good hand OR he tries to bluff, which he doesn't do very often, if anything just try to not let Sam win more than three hands.
