Description
Royal Gallery

This mod allows you to commission portraits for your favorites characters for 25 gold.

To commission a portrait, right-click on a character you like and choose the option "Commission Portrait".

The portraits are placed in a gallery which you can access by clicking on the "Monalisa" button at the bottom left-ish of the screen.

If you change your mind about having a particular portrait in your gallery, you can destroy it by right-clicking the portrait and choosing the option "Destroy Portrait".

P/S...

PS1: Sorry, there is no option to reorganize the portraits. They appear in the order you commissioned them.

PS2: Magically, the portrait ages as the character ages... I know it's not realistic, but this is the way.

Future Plans

2023: Stop character aging after portrait is made.
2033: Turn character portraits into artifacts that can be hung on your royal court walls.
2034: Play Crusader Kings 4.

can you update pls

To make the portraits not age and be an artifact you'd have to convert the actual portraits into JPG or PNG files, I'd assume you'd need some Java scripting to do so. But to make it so it would be simpler if the create portrait was interlinked with barbershop screenshot function.

could also just kill the clone, they would probably look the same for the rest of his death

Put the clone in a dungeon for life in an unreachable kingdom. Bam!

that's an interesting workaround, but yeah the character will diverge, so it's not ideal.

the only workaround i can think of to the 'save portraits as the character currently looks' problem is something like making a clone like this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2499725394
then, make the clone immortal, and save its image as opposed to the original character. the only problem would be now you have an immortal clone somewhere in your game
