The Empire of Stygia: Custom Map Pre-Alpha Testing Is now Public.

PLEASE READ Before Downloading The Release Notes:

This is a Active Patron Supported Project

Custom Content Is Patron Supported

This is a Pre-Alpha Test of a custom Separate Custom Conan Exiles Map. It?s not a full map nor is it complete.

1. Known Issues water foot step splashing issues, Heat Map Currently Disabled Funcom Bug Issues Also.
2. Constructive feed back is encouraged, non constructive will be ignored.
3. Unknown Issues do exist so remember that it?s a Test of the Map.
4. The Map will be based on Conan Lore and sticking to the Lore.
5. This is not a high fantasy map nor a overhaul of any systems or functions of the base game.
6. There is custom content that has been put into the map.
7. Updates will be on a once or twice a month basis unless a major malfunction or bug requires immediate fixing.
8. The map will continue to receive updates over time.
9. To Run the map you will have to update your sever installation and change the Defaultengine.ini file to run the map.

Stygia is located south of Shem and north of the Black Kingdoms . Much of its borders are defined by the river Styx. Stygia's terrain is a mix of Dry desert mountains, desert plains, swamps, and jungle marshes.

Capital: Luxur,
Major cities: Khemi, Kheshatta, Harakht, Sukhmet .

Resources: Gems (lapis lazuli, fine quartz), medicines and charms, bronze, ivory, pearls, skins and slaves from the Black Kingdoms

Imports: Cattle, grain and other agricultural products

Allies: Kush, Turan, Zembabwei

Enemies: Shem, Darfar, Keshan

Religion: Set, Derketo, Ibis

Hello Everyone I am still working hard on this map mod solo. Yes there are others listed however they do not work full time with me on the map. They contributed a small portion of help. There is a lot to be done. I am by myself so it takes a while and I have a few Irons in the fire at the moment. Yes I cant seem to find "Enough Iron to put into the fire" Hint climb mountains!!!

Finally found a named thrall that could be knocked out and put on the wheel. Am I correct in thinking that there are sources of iron and coal added to the map?

Честно сказать красиво но плоско и мертво. В городах нет жизни, рынок слишком мелкий и однообразный , там должно быть движение. В пустыне тоска и местами невидимые воды , надеюсь что проект оживёт дабавлю в избранное.

Are there ANY possible thralls? It seems like either gold barred (normally concussionable, but not in this map) or varying skulls, or merchants.

Sure, from the last, you can buy a few worthless T1-2, but without any possible challenge, it just fails to engage.

Why should I bother to explore if there is no way to achieve any advancement? There is no reward for careful, cautious play, just some very minimal and underwhelming "reward", that frankly is just not worth the effort.

Yes, I know you intend this to be difficult, but there is a distinct difference between a challenge and an artificial wall that is arbitrary and non-intuitive.

Perhaps there could be at least SOME in between?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this mod very much, and do appreciate the difficulty factor- but if there is no way to organically advance, it feels more like a chore than a challenge.

This mod is wonderfully built, absolutely beautiful and definitely satisfies the itch for more Stygian content. Is there more planned to round it out? the cities are thus far empty as of 3/2025 which, given how gorgeous they are feels odd. Not very many interactive NPCs, would love to see more added!
