アイヌPOPの外観が本MODに起因して変わっている事を、最近まで把握できておりませんでした。素晴らしいMODです。
The line in question is 239 and 323.
The code you have is "graphics = asian"
The code should be instead "graphics = east_asian"
This may be because PDX changed the culture class during the 1.5 update so the previous class of "asian" is no longer valid.
When applying these changes, the game will be able to display Japanese Soldiers during war with this mod enabled. I also did a test prior where I started a new game with the mod enabled and got into a quick revolution as Japan, the soldiers did not spawn prior to the changes.
I hope you enjoy this MOD and the East Asian Namelist Improvement MOD.

Thank you for the report.
This MOD only changes name canditates in the culture settings, so it does not include mechanism that affect military technology or AI country behavior. In any case, please be aware that adding mods during the game may cause unexpected behavior.
I installed the mod mid game as I was researching mechanized Infantry, so I'm not sure if this bug happens once you have mechanized infantry or at the very beginning. I also don't know if this will impact other East Asian nations that shares the same models with Japan since I have not gotten into a war with them yet.
