Description
So it's finally here! Victoria 3!

Of course, it will take time until mods take off and make the experience filled with way more flavor, but until then, why does every nation just displays its default name? With a territory sprawling the map the Russian Empire is called simply "Russia"? While we had so many different names in Victoria 2 and even more in HoI4, why does its sequel have only a default name? Looks lame, right?

Well, for those who agree, i guess this mod will make the map look a little bit more pleasing to interact with. Dynamic names have been included according to my criteria. I tried to made the text fit better according to territory size, if the country is relevant in the international stage, if it was known as such back in the time and if it is at least historically accurate. I made an arduous research to find out official names adopted throughout the history of the nations in the game and assign them accordingly, so i think it will work as intended without inaccuracies or problems. I may eventually add more, we'll see how this little mod sketch is recieved by the community.

As for the colors, i made a mod myself changing some of them to look better but by my own choice, i can publish this separate color change mod if anyone is interested, but for now, i guess that's all.

Enjoy your run, folks!

German Republic makes more sense for a communist/worker style Republic but just my opinion.

Yeah also depending on if you want this mod to be historical or not: The democratic weimar republic also called itself "German Reich" (Deutsches Reich). Nazi germany renamed itself to "Greater German Reich" or "Großdeutsches Reich" in german. Historically any Germany from 1871 to 1945 actually called itself German Reich so might be better to change Nazi Germany to Greater German Reich. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Reich

Just so you know if you form Germany as Prussia it still says "Germany" instead of German Empire. It's weird because all other names work fine.

I pass you the link to download the file with the translation. You put it in the localization file and it should be fine.
I quickly tested it and everything seems to work.
I will try to follow the new names you put in :

Hi! I just made a French translation of what you had done. Do you want me to send you what I did? (I tried to keep the meaning of the countries names, but some translations are difficult to translate between the two languages)

Well, that's weird... I didn't add one for Bolivia, so that's expected, but for Colombia i did add New Granada, so i can't think of a reason... I'll try to take a look

Hey, love the work you've done but I've got a question.

I noticed when i changed to a monarchy in both my Bolivia and New Granada that the name didn't change with it, and simply resumed back to it's default name. When i looked through your mod file however i noticed that New Granada did have a dynamic kingdom name (as far as i know with little to no modding knowledge), but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to have come into affect?

and if it's simply the case of it not being implemented yet, could you tell me how i could implement my custom dynamic names?
