UWE Northern and Midland Hiver Retexture

Description
This is my personal texture touchup for UWE's Northern and Midland Hivers.

- Lightens midland hivers so they don't appear almost pitchblack, which strained my eyes on a monitor with really good contrast-ratio.
- Bloodies northern hivers. Their original textures were dark and featureless, which looked pretty bad.
- Both have their own set of warpaints, the eye colors were also custom-made.
- Their queens are now properly textured and no longer a mess of dark colors.

It also includes a pair of fixes: Northern soldiers had the wrong normal map assigned, which gave them a funny downward mouth.
And the northern queen had her race set as a midland queen by mistake.

This of course requires UWE, load this below it.

@Loufe yeah same, this mod is probably outdated by now.

is anyone else getting errors that the skins can't be found for this addon?

I'll do a princess patch using these textures instead of the original. I'll link it when they're done

:beeped: a lot better in my opinion, original ones looked very similar at night.

Great!)
What do I need them for?)

Yup. That's what they're for.

Hi, can I use your mods in my build?

Exactly how you'd expect, Entoco. The Midland texture had enough detail that brightening it didn't look terrible. The Northern texture wasn't going to work for that, so I just processed the vanilla hiver texture a bunch to get it a nice red hue. Same had to be done for the queens.

The exact steps taken in gimp were:
For Midland hive: take existing texture, hue-sat; +15 lightness, -100 greenspace saturation.
For Northern hive and queen: Take vanilla hive texture, paint the whole thing red at 17ish opacity, hue-chroma; -25 chroma -42 lightness.
Midland queen: Vanilla queen texture, isolate just the body parts, contrast +80 brightness -80, exposure grain extract at 10 opacity. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough.
