DS4 setup for Assetto Corsa

Too poor to own a racing wheel? Do you have a DualShock 4 controller lying around but can’t get a hold of how to configure your controls the right way? Well, this guide is for you!

Step 1

Download Content Manager

Step 2

Go to Settings > Assetto Corsa > Controls
Set up your controls as desired and save as a preset on the bottom right.

Step 3

Go to the Assetto Corsa game page and click the cog icon, select Manage > Controller Layout.
Alternatively, right click on Asseto Corsa > Manage > Controller Layout.

Step 4

Create your config according to your bindings on Content Manager.
If there’s no controller keybinds available, add in keyboard keybinds instead.

Here's my preset.

And that’s it! You should be ready to play Assetto Corsa with a Dualshock 4 with no issues!

I can steer with my ps4 controller dual sense. I use other files in content manager for controller. I don't need to do any steam controller setups.

I can't get it to work. I made a preset with Content Manager as requested but then what? Do I load that preset when I open the game? Does Steam have to be in Big Picture Mode?

Everything is set to the default xbox controllers because Content Manager doesn't acknowledge keybind change inputs but yet the button press indicator in the top right lights up.

As for step 4, all I have is the "Recommended Template" & when I click on the right arrow to find other templates (at least I assume that's what that button is for) it just pulls up an infinite load screen.

Have I done something wrong?
