Description
You are the student of a naturalist that want to hire you. But you still need to proove your worth.

The watercolor flowers and leaves are by me, all the other illustrations are made with stable diffusion.

Edit 22/01/2023 : I made a button to skip the level that can cause some trouble to some player, and I also add a little text at the beginning to make the first puzzle more clear.

3) Please make that cabinet door open properly so we can see what's written in it. Or at least switch places between the Morse code on the door and the molecule explanations inside the cabinet; if a player doesn't know what to do with that puzzle they are bound to look better (and see the badly visible poster).

Lastly, I think you could skip the tree drawings on the small cabinet doors. They made me wonder if I was supposed to pick them up and I couldn't because this was yet another bug. And I also had some problems with the plants in the end (I dropped one and it disappeared), but this is a problem I also had with other rooms and I doubt you can solve it. I don't consider it a huge problem, because restarting the room and getting there will only take a couple of minutes, once you know what to do.

Anyway, hope this helps. Thanks for the room!

2) The animal puzzle: The hint at the beginning doesn't really help (we are counting very small numbers here, so it barely registers as an "addition", and besides, even if we were to ignore some of the animals, which ones?) I think you need to make a clearer distinction about what is a clue and what is a solution. Organizing paintings on different walls could help here. E.g. put all the clue ones where the flamingo clue is, and put some label over them, e.g. "My art/My photos" (would fit nicely with the clue about CREATING associations). Then put all the the solution paintings on the wall across, with a plaque over them saying "Species to study" or "Field photos to analyze" or something like that. Also, I don't know if it's possible, but those horse pictures could make for a lovely vitraux lamp if you put four of them around to make a column and put a light source inside .

Here's my contribution to this discussion, hope it helps you troubleshoot. Btw, the room is cute, the puzzles are interesting, and well done on drawing those paintings!
1) Yes, the tree pedigree puzzle is broken, but what exactly happens is that the game mistakes two of the drawings for the same item. So while I'm collecting the drawings, I have picture X in my inventory, pick up more, each one takes up a different slot in the inventory as it should, then suddenly one of them just goes over picture X in the inventory and they become one. That's why the last picture goes missing. I have no idea how this particular engine works, but maybe you were copy-pasting items to make the multiple pictures and forgot to change the properties in that one, to make it count as a different item?

I will need to make extra posts because of the character limit, sorry about that...

Although most of the puzzles were fairly straightforward and somewhat enjoyable, I would say that this is a middling escape room. The animal puzzle stumped me right from the get-go; I knew that the four flowers corresponded with the animal portraits, but I kept trying to count ALL of that animal in the room, not solely the picture sans flowers they were in (also, it looked like there were seven, not six, flamingos in their portrait). Unfortunately, there were no hints in-game, so I had to go to the discussions tab for the solution. Like others, I did not get to finish the tree mutation puzzle; it seemed to have no purpose in completing the escape room, and I'm not sure where the rest of the panels were. With a few tweaks, this could be a great escape room, but for now, it's a little too vague and incomplete to be exceptional.

This room ended up being easily completed without actually doing any/most of the puzzles. i happened to know enough about morse code numbers from other rooms I've done, so after searching around the first room aimlessly trying to follow the animal clue, I just plugged in the morse code numbers and got access to the second part of the room prematurely. I happened to unintentionally solve the final puzzle just while placing the large plants on the table (not even trying to brute force it, since I could barely tell where the puzzle started to begin with).

I've gone back into the room solo to try to figure out the intended solution. There are some great ideas in this room, but having a lot of the puzzles either unnecessary or redundant really lets it down.I think my biggest recommendation would be to lock one of the final plants away to be unlocked once the succulents have been placed correctly. .

The final puzzle is also somewhat bugged: two of the plants have fallen out of the room (they lie behind the glass, yet still reachable), and one is completely lost, could not find it. Luckily, the terrarium is still clickable through the case.

Solid room, i liked it. I was a bit confused how the yellow balloons on the chest related to the morse code from the locker, I initially thought that was the code for the animals. Also, when i got into the plant room, two of the plants had spawned outside, so i crouched under the table and clicked the terrarium and instantly won.

Decided to try your rooms after enjoying your contribution to the Collab. I did it with a friend in co-op, & we both enjoyed the nature of the puzzles & the art of the room. Really, it's only lacking a bit of polish to sort out a few bugs, but otherwise we had a really good time & it was refreshingly different from other room we had tried before. Kudos !

If you make every picture in the game clickable without it having any actual use at least make the morse code panel also clickable so that we can properly look at it...

@NinjaToad that is a problem with the game engine. Don't stand near or touch moving objects or you'll get stuck.
