How to Unlock the Secret Character: Avatar Infernas (v1.0.109)

Requirements

1) A mouse.

2) Have Garcia's mirror.


3) Beat the Eudaimonia M. stage boss, The Director.

Now To Unlock Infernas

Pick any character of your choice, I used Red Death.

Select the stage Inlaid Library Inverse mode selected.


Progress normally through the stage saving 2 weapon slots for the birds, Peachone and Ebony Wings. Do NOT evolve the birds. [Edit: If you do evolve the birds, it may be possible the continue.]

Play until you have leveled/powered up enough and go past the Gold Ring on the right side. You will come across a Trickster above a piano, it should be with in 5 squares when looking at the map. It does take a second or two for the Trickster to pop out of the piano chair. If you can't find the right piano, you're at the wrong one.


When you find and defeat the Trickster, walk up to the piano a small QTE style event will occur involving the birds. Hit the same keys that the birds land on with you mouse. If done correctly you will be teleported to another stage with 9 coffins around you.

Walk around the the coffins until Avatar Infernas comes out of one of the coffins. Once Infernas is defeated, it will be unlocked, a White Death will trigger and the run will end once the revivals go down to ZERO.

kalvasflam = Unlock Avatar Infernas and Flames of Misspell

freezearrow = Unlocks Gracia'a Mirror

dootdoot = Unlock Seventh Trumpet

@MemeScreen You have to get both items from the director, use them (play inverse and endless once), and then beat him by playing Eudaimonia M again. Then go to inversed inlaid library.

Does not seem to work with the rainbow bird... sort of. You can access the piano, but no birds will fly to the keys. However if you play the tune on the piano correctly, even without the birds to guide you, you will still get teleported to the stage with the coffins. Since it's a Silent Hill 1 reference, the solution is the same as in the game and easy to find with "Silent Hill piano puzzle" if someone needs a visual image.
