A guide to all achievements for the free story expansion "The Spirits of Amazonia" expansion for Green Hell.

This is a guide on how to earn the 25 "The Spirits of the Amazonia" achievements. This was a free story expansion that comes as part of the game.

Tribe Achievements

-Oyohua Mu'agi:
"Discover the Mu'agi Village"
Explore the first area. (41W 35S)


-Mu'agi Friend:
"Gain 800 trust of the Mu'agi tribe"

Earn 800 trust with the first tribe by:

• Burning bodies (20 trust)
  
• Completing legends in the area (100 trust)
  
• Destroying enemy camps (5 for small, 40 for large)
  
• Healing hunters (30 trust)
  
• Rescuing kidnapped women (30 trust)
  
• Returning children to the village (30 trust)

-Oyohua Un'garaca:
"Discover the Un'garaca Village"
Explore the second area. (46W 26S)


-Un'garaca Friend:
"Gain 800 trust of the Un'garaca tribe"

Earn 800 trust with the second tribe by:

• Clearing water sources (25 trust)
  
• Completing legends in the area (100 trust)
  
• Destroying enemy camps (5 for small, 40 for large)
  
• Healing hunters (30 trust)
  
• Rescuing kidnapped women (30 trust)
  
• Returning children to the village (30 trust)

-Oyohua Habbacu:
"Discover the Habbacu Village"
Explore the third area. (25W 21S)


-Habbacu Friend:
"Gain 800 trust of the Habbacu tribe"

Earn 800 trust with the second tribe by:

• Helping fishermem (25 trust)
  
• Rebuilding totems (25 trust)
  
• Completing legends in the area (100 trust)
  
• Destroying enemy camps (5 for small, 40 for large)
  
• Healing hunters (30 trust)?
  
• Rescuing kidnapped women (30 trust)?
  
• Returning children to the village (30 trust)?

Action Achievements

-Babysitter:
"Return 9 kids to safety"

You will find kids out in the jungle and they will try and run from you. Pick them up and deliver them back to the tribal village in that area for trust and to progress this achievement. You must take 9 back to the tribal villages for this achievement.


-Rest in peace:
"Burn 10 Tribe Members' corpses"

You will find dead tribal members hanging on trees in the first area of the expansion. If you have a blade in your inventory you can cut them down and prepare them for burning by collecting the required materials in the neighbouring jungle. Burn 10 tribe members this way for the achievement.


-Molineria-man:
"Heal a Tribe Member"

You will find injured tribe members on your journeys. You need to bring the right materials to cure their injuries. You can do this by dragging items out of your inventory on to them. Example items include: bandages (different types depending), clean water, certain mushrooms etc. You only need to do this once for the achievement.


-Cage opener:
"Free 9 Tribe Women"

Kidnapped tribal women can be found at various enemy camps around the map. You can free them once you have killed the enemies by interacting with their cage doors. Free 9 women for the achievement.


-Cleaning volunteer:
"Burn 10 Toxic Waste Piles"

In the second map area you will find water that has been poisoned (it will be a distinctive green colour). You need to collect the plastic bottles from the water area and then build and light the fire to burn it. Over time the water will become clean again. Do this 10 times.


-Handyman:
"Rebuild 10 Tribe Totems"

In the third part of the map you will find totems that have been destroyed. You can rebuild these for trust and you will need to do 10 for the achievement. They require the following materials: Tapir skull, Bones, Long sticks, Rope, Small sticks and feathers.


-Fishing in troubled waters:
"Help 5 Tribe Fishermen"

Fisherman can be found throughout the third part of the expansion. They will be near rivers (surprise!) and work similar to the injured hunters. You will need to bring the correct items to help them. They can need bamboo bows, arrows, four pronged spears (long bamboo stick, 2 small sticks and a rope), larva and clean water. Help 5 of these fishermen for the achievement.

Trial Achievements

You must have 800 trust with a tribe in order to start their trial. You can get the item to start the trial by speaking the the tribe Elder after obtaining the required trust level. You start the trials in the tribe village at the ritual bowl.


-The Ritual of Mu'agi:
"Complete the Mu'agi Trial"

To complete this trial, defend the injured hunters from the animals while growing the correct plant to cure their injuries by picking up and depositing the giant water droplets.


-The Ritual of Un'garaca:
"Complete the Un'garaca Trial"

To complete this trial, hunt the animal displayed on the rock with the weapon type you are given. (Match the symbol of weapon to animal and hunt them).


-The Ritual of Habbacu:
"Complete the Habbacu Trial"

"To complete this trial, pick up the mystical fish (green, blue, yellow) from inside swarms of piranhas (red) without getting caught. Use the bubbles to prevent drowning." - Caitlyn


-Work hard, play hard:
"Complete the Yabahuaca Trial"

Legend Achievements

Legends can be completed by finding all the stones for each one by exploring and then solving how to complete them from the clues in the note book. These can require quite a few steps so I will link Kaiman's amazing guides on how to complete them for each area!

Map Collector Achievement

-Map Collector:
"Find 5 maps"

• Map 1 is found in the Steamboat (36W 42S)
  
• Map 2 is found at the Drug Faclity (51W 27S)
  
• Map 3 is found at the Airport (29W 22S)
  
• Map 4 is found at the Airport (29W 22S)
  
• Map 5 is found at Jake's Tent (28W 34S)

Narrative Achievements

-This is Jake Higgins...:
"Report back to base"

In the first area of the game you will find your boat (40W 40S) where you can burn the body of the deceased captain. You need to find an antenna to repair the boat radio.

The antenna can be found on the second map at the drug facility (51W 27S) in the back of the Jeep. Take this back to the boat and use it to fix the radio and report to base for the achievement.
