Tram Roma Serie 7000 'stanga'

ITALIANO

Il "Treno Articolato Stanga" (TAS) venne commissionato da ATAG nel 1940 ed entrò in servizio nel pieno corso della seconda guerra mondiale. Si trattava di una versione prototipo, basata sulle vetture del gruppo 400 fornite alla STEFER nel 1937.

Al termine della seconda guerra mondiale, venne inoltrato un secondo ordine di 70 unità dello stesso tipo di tram, con leggere modifiche estetiche. L'ordine venne successivamente ridotto a 50 unità e, dal 1948 fino ad oggi, questi veicoli hanno prestato ininterrottamente servizio per la capitale.

Tecnicamente, il tram stanga è mosso da 4 motori elettrici per una potenza complessiva di 211Kw. La massa a vuoto della vettura è di 26t e la velocità massima raggiungibile è 50km/h

The "Articulated Stanga Train" (TAS) was commissioned by ATAG in 1940 and entered service in the middle of the Second World War. It was a prototype version, based on the 400 group cars supplied to STEFER in 1937.

At the end of the Second World War, a second order of 70 units of the same type of tram was placed, with slight aestethical changes. The order was subsequently reduced to 50 units and, from 1948 until today, these vehicles have been in continuous service for the capital city.

Technically, the stanga tram is powered by 4 electric motors for a total power of 211Kw. The unladen mass of the car is 26t and the maximum speed is 50km/h
