Team Hidden Zones

Description
UPDATE 7/25/2025: Less Laggy version (Thanks to Ugleh for pointing out a better way than calling onUpdate !)

Drag these cards onto hidden zones to make that zone visible only to the players on that team
(Hearts, Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Jokers).

To use:

1. Create hidden zones for the teams you want. The color and settings of the zone do not matter.
They will be updated automatically.

2. Drag the corresponding card to a hidden zone for the team you want to set. i.e.: To make a Hearts team zone you drag the hearts card to the zone you just made. The zone will become a team hidden zone and the card will be deleted.
If the card isn't getting deleted that means it is already set to that team.

3. Set your teams accordingly

To do:
Add text or some other indicator of which team the zone is set to. Right now the easiest way is to right click with the zone tool and view the description.

Why did I make this?
Team zones are technically a thing, but the way they work is not simple enough. You basically have a team leader with a color, and other players have to be on the same team as that player. Then they can see everything in the team leader's hidden zone. This requires adjusting colors and coordinating which player has to be which color and team.

This is not as intuitive as having dedicated team zones.

I don't want to steal your mod but took the liberty of updating it to not use onUpdate. If you want to update your mod with my save you can, and I will proceed to delete my version. It's up to you.

Thanks! They can be anything. You can copy the scripts from the cards and paste it into any object's script and it should work the same :)
