Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is outdated version of the scenario, which may be not functional at all. After recent loss of saves and user data from the game, I am afraid there is no way how I can repair it or publish new, functional version. I am sorry for any possible inconvenience caused by this fact and huge thanks to everyone who tried this scenario when it was functional.


Simple scenario focused on manned mission in more hostile environment (North polar cap) and dark atmosphere. You don't have any serious tasks here, just try mobile laboratory or science buggy at your purpose.

But if you really want to have some goal, there are four objects of interest scattered near your base: Destroyed large rover, untouched lander, your landing module and EAS probe. Go on, find them. They are not hard to find and there is no task related to them, but it's still something.

I plan to extend this mission with new Expedition One content when it becomes available. But right now, I hope you will enjoy current version.

For start of the mission, simply press F key! For switching between Marsonaut characters, press Tab.

Spin-Planet: Yeah, unfortunately this is caused by latest updates. To be honest, I would like to wait for the finished game (Take On Mars shoul leave Early Access soon) and then update the mod, so sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully finished version of the mission applied to the finished version of the game will be good enough :rover: :lander:

There is a difference between Dev mode and Development build. Dev mod is just a different version of the same game build, launched through separate .exe file or game launcher and used primarily for modders. It doesn't change anything in case of this mission or any other mission. But development build is someting different. You can download it after you choose "-development" option in Betas tab in game properties (accessible through Steam game library). This version is used for testing of new features and I recommend it for this mission, simply because it already contains those new features

Stuck in the ground? Interesting, they are in normal position in my case. Are you sure you are using development build of the game? If there is any problem with character placement, it could be due to the fact that normal build uses old, prototype player model. This mission is already updated to new models, currently exlusive for dev build
