Dreamescape

Description

DreamEscape is a roleplay-like interactive story game in the style of the old Fighting Fantasy story books.

Great Cthulhu has trapped your sleeping mind in the Dreamlands, shattering your dream-self into multiple shards and fragments. It is your task to recover these lost fragments, unravel the secrets as you adventure and survive long enough to find the correct key and matching gate that will let you escape and wake up!

To win you must avoid or overcome the many dangers of this nightmare world. Carefully manage your pool of skills, discover powerful items and legendary artifacts, gain blasphemous knowledge, secret lores and sanity blasting spells. Conserve your Vitality and Sanity, cleverly use two new powerful abilities - Deja vu and Lucid dreaming, to stay ahead of the minions of Cthulhu.

This demo is a short (30min) showcase of the game, the story and how the roleplay elements fit together into an exciting whole.
Introducing
• Rosalinde, 1st of the six asymetric characters to play
• Keycode system - a novel approach where matching unique icons on cards reveals hidden alternative story paths
• a range of unique Items, devices and secret Lore

DreamEscape is non-linear and highly replayable. Repeated play changes and rewards your experience as you uncover more of the hidden story and make educated alternative choices based on your previous memories of playing.

Finally got around to play this and it's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to my physical copy. Two questions:

1) On the poison condition it says that you reduce max health by -3 for each marker. Is that effect applied immediately? According to the tutorial, I would've died right then.

2) The tutorial indicates drawing the next story card from the deck 586->510, but the way it is worded implies 510 will be underneath 586 and the 510 card is not indicated specifically on the story card sent to the memories section. Do you intend to clarify which card should be placed in which sequence within the realm deck? Will I know that 510 is the next card automatically drawn after 586 by the way the deck is initially built? I'm just concerned that the story card is discard into the memories doesn't actually tell me which story card to draw next (or at least 586 did not indicate drawing 510 after discarding within the text of 586)

15 degrees is the minimum the dial can be rotated unfortunately. All numbers should now be visible though.

When you load TTS there is a bar at the top of the screen with buttons on it.. one of them on the far right is number of degrees... set this to 15 and the items will now rotate at 15 degree intervals... now you should be able to rotate the thing correctly.

De deja vu and lucid cant be rotated properly to show the 1. I suppose the others same. Each time you rotate, it goes like 1,5 up or down, so you cant move them properly, many times dont show a number.
