Dandan - Forgetful Fish

Dandan is a variant Magic: the Gathering game played from a shared deck of cards. The ultimate control player mirror-match, it features just one creature: Dandan. This 4/1 islandhome puts your opponent on a 5-turn clock, but the real battle will be fought on the stack. Because both player's share a deck, any Memory Lapse you cast is a spell you can draw next turn, any scry or mill effect is a way to control your opponent's next draw. In the words of Nick Floyd: "Control the draw, control the game."

This format is at its best when both players have a strong understand of Magic's rules, particularly priority, turn structure, and state-based actions.
