Background

Prison Cell 176 is not just a digital construct; it is a faithful representation of the cell in the Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1 in Tyumen. This project was born out of the personal experiences of its creator, who was arrested on May 6, 2022, for posts on VK (a Russian social network) that opposed the invasion of Ukraine. For the fact of being openly gay man, he was placed in solitary confinement, enduring the grueling conditions of Cell 176.

Purpose

This addon serves as a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by political prisoners and the harsh realities of solitary confinement or other detention, which people may face for the only their way of use their rights to freedom of speech. It is a tribute to those who endure and resist, highlighting the importance of freedom and human rights.This will be helpful for all, to store memory of Putin's regime crimes.
