Special conditions of detention: Despite the fact that SCP-006, by its nature, does not allow any long-term detention, for obvious reasons it is necessary to maintain a certain level of secrecy regarding the existence and properties of the object. The following procedures are necessary not to ensure the safety of personnel, but to prevent disclosure of its properties to personnel interacting with SCP-006.

All personnel interacting with SCP-006 in any physical form are required to wear modified Class VI RCMP suits. Before employees are allowed to begin work on the object, they must be instructed on the basis of documents SCP-006B or SCP-006C. The instruction of SCP-006A is the only correct one and is allowed to be introduced only to employees with a level O5 clearance. To ensure that the suits are properly worn by the staff, they must be immersed in a pool of water. Air bubbles formed after the dive mean that the suit is damaged.
Tests with SCP-006 should be conducted under strict supervision. In case of contact with SCP-006, the shift commander must declare procedure 006-Xi-12, which, according to the briefing conducted with the staff, means high toxicity and the need for evacuation.
Any test involving the removal of liquid from SCP-006 must be approved by three employees with an O5 clearance level. The liquid must be transported exclusively in a quad-sealed container and under armed guard.
Any member of staff seen in contact with SCP-006 or liquid from it must be apprehended and destroyed after examination. Given the nature of SCP-006, cremation is the most effective method of destruction (for a full report, see file SCP006-TerO5).
Description: SCP-006 is a small spring located 60 km west of Astrakhan. The O5 Council has been aware of its existence since the 19th century, but for political reasons was not able to take it under its control until 1991. A chemical plant was built on the site of the spring as a cover, the predominant number of employees of which are under the control of the Fund and/or Russia. According to the chemical composition of the liquid taken from the source, in 1902 it was identified as ordinary spring water, but with an unusual "healing" property.

Ingestion of liquid causes the following properties in humans: the ability to repair DNA damaged by repeated duplication, accelerated cell division, an extremely enhanced ability to repair damaged tissues and a frightening increase in the effectiveness of the immune system. During animal testing, malignant bacteria and viruses were immediately destroyed. Many reptiles and birds were not affected by the liquid, whereas higher primates reacted the same way as humans.
