Can it work in a private session?

You don't need to be in Public session. Other session types work too.
I Completed the M16 in Friend only session.

im worried this doesnt work because modders can put the gun in your inventory and then take it back out, but, thanks!

Load into a invite only session and follow the guide, if you go into a public session the part may not spawn.

Yup. It's because I don't have screenshots for the other locations.
They are just here to give you a hint about what you are looking for.
Using the map for the basic locationis just what you need.
No blue points near those markers means it didn't spawned.

ive been in a lobby for 50 minutes and no blue dots have showed up, a modder put the gun in my inv - disapeared in a ne lobby once now that im thinking about it so i really hope its not because of that..
