Hidden Storage Crate

This guide sets out the location of a hidden storage crate containing blueprint microchips.

Location

There is a hidden storage crate containing blueprint microchips at the south-west corner of the map (coordinates: -1953:75:2939).

Starting at the Meteor Crater, head due south-west and continue on that course until you get to the edge of the map. You may need water, oxygen and food to make the return trip.

I made it to the location but the box no longer exists

They fixed it so you can no longer get to the box. It's still there, if you get at just the right angle you can see it in the distance, you just can't get to it anymore.

I have found the Place with the coordinates on the Pictures, but theres no Box.
Possible, the box was moved or removed.
My Version is 0.8.010

As of v.0.7.010.15:651, this is now a bit of a trap so don't do it on hard mode. The directions from PhailRaptor were good, but this entire area is now underwater, and a living compartment can be built but does not recharge O2. I had enough Oxygen capsules to get back to the ancient city barrier hole but remained underwater even while traveling through the normal map. I ran out of O2, died, and respawned back at the Def Chest and repeatedly died within moments of respawning due to no O2. I had to reload my save, which had auto saved at the point I died on the main map. I was now back in the normal game map and promptly died again due to a lack of O2. But this time I successfully respawned at my base.

When you get a teleporter you can get past the invis wall

So I found a hole in the invisible walls blocking the def chest. Follow the wall north as far as you can. You'll move through a rock face, to the place where it intersects with the back side of the final Warden ruins. Turn the corner west when you are able, and you should end up over a square section of water, which iIrc is below the final Butterfly chamber in the Warden ruins. Keep rubbing against the wall as close to the corner of the water pool as you can and you'll push through it. Then just go back south again until you reach the def chest. I even built a Teleporter there so I don't have to go through the motions again.

It is no longer accessible on the current stable build... you still can see it in the distance but you can't reach it due to an invisible wall

I wonder: Why do you need oxygen? Is this a general tip for those trying this trip and are not yet at breathable air stage, or doesn't oxygen exist in this area (as in, it's not supposed to be visited and/or part of the game)?
