"The weather was perfect, the state of snow was C grade, impressions for the year ahead!
There was a lot of ice on the top of most of the slopes, and where there was none, there was crust, and at high speed it was possible to ride like on hard tracks. There was little powder and basically the transition from ice to soft snow was very sharp and one had to always ride in tension so as not to lose balance during the transition.
Be sure to get in shape before going freeride, your level of riding must be above average, and at the same time you must be able to ride off-piste.
Unfortunately, one skier broke his finger on his hand. Take care of yourself.
