Short Guide: Paladin Parnell

Looks tricky, is actually the easiest medic in the game in my opinion.

Overview
If you have just randomly decided to try out Big PP (Paladin Parnell) you probably thought to yourself during the match "wow, this character sucks."

There is a real difference in using a character effectively and mashing buttons. The difference for PP is really huge in this case. Once you know the trick to him he's basically on autopilot.

How to Use
Big PP has a kit tooled around pretty much exactly two situations: You are being targeted/You are not being targeted.

I recommend trying to gain a height advantage when playing Big PP, because his rockets must hit a surface and the floor is usually better for that than shooting horizontally.

Mutagen Shotgun: The shotgun is used when you are being targeted, and only when you are being targeted. It will allow you to use Healing Burst every couple seconds, making you virtually unkillable while also blasting buckshot into the monster's face with zero punishment.

Generyst Rockets: Used at all times when you are not being targeted. The rocket launcher has an absurdly slow reload and firerate, but compared to other healing sources, it is actually quite good healing. Do not let the slowness fool you, this thing is amazing. Healing can go through surfaces so long as the friendly target is within the blast radius. Just spam it in the direction of the monster's target.

Righteous Fury: Simple enough, there are only two situations you should use Righteous Fury. Against high damage monsters, use Righteous Fury alongside your Mutagen Shotgun when you are targeted to consistently stay alive. Second, use in emergencies - this means an ally about to be downed or if you want to revive someone. Big PP's biggest weakness is reviving his allies, and Righteous Fury is basically the only way you're going to do that. DO NOT activate Righteous Fury randomly, make it count.

Healing Burst: Should be used basically anytime you lose health for any reason, that should be simple enough for you. When the monster targets you press it as much as you can while firing the shotgun.

I am not good for advice on perks. However, I recommend taking Reload Speed or Swap Speed for Big PP.
