how to avoid power armor glitch

what it is

so you find new power armor right and you're hyped to have another power armor frame, so you take off your current power armor (if you have it on) and hop on inside but when you go to enter you suddenly get stuck and you can't move, your H.U.D is gone you can't use your pip boy, you can still use your weapon but your just stuck and so you leave and come back and you can move and everything again, but the frame is gone and you miss out on that extra power armor frame. and now you're left angry at Bethesda for this game breaking bug.

how to fix it

well i got good news and bad news the bad news is once it happens it can't be reversed at least not to my knowledge but the good news is you can avoid it entirely 100% of the time you see,
in say fallout 4 for example there was this little thing where if you try to enter power armor with no fusion core instead of entering an animation would play showing the character putting a fusion core in the suit instead of getting in after which you had to interact with it again, well in fallout 76 they removed the animation and instead one just gets remove from your inventory and your supposed to get inside but you don't my guess is that when it was removed the game thinks you're in the putting on power armor animation sequence which freezes movement and access to pip boy but yet at the same time the game thinks you're putting in a fusion core and so animation and movement stops causing this chaos, so hear we go,
it's simple when you encounter a power armor frame all you have to do is enter the transfer screen where you would load power on it while outside of power armor and put the core in that way, then and only then is it safe to enter after there's a core inside you should be fine.
