Hide and Seek - Giant Bathroom

This is a giant map (also known as a rat map, because the player is about the size of a rat) inspired by other games with similar maps, such as "Army Men: Sarge's Heroes."

Click the SUBSCRIBE button above.
Load Scrap Mechanic.
If you don't have Scrap Mechanic already GET IT HERE
Click Play.
Click Challenge.
Click "Hide and Seek Bathroom" in the menu to the left.
Click Select Challenge.
"HnS - Giant Bathroom" should appear to the left and be selected already.
Click Play.
Enjoy. (This is the most important step.)

***The seeker(s) must hide their HUD (Hold ALT and press Z) until the devs make Hide and Seek an official gamemode (if they ever do lol).

***If you experience lag or stuttering, try setting your physics quality to Simple 1 (Press ESC while in game, then hit options, then the gameplay tab).

***Also make sure your bloom is turned on under the graphics tab, otherwise some important details may not show up.

I recommend exploring the map before playing the first time. To open the trapdoor right away just change the timer to zero and hit start.

Feel free to test out the timer before you play. Don't worry, it won't start the challenge until someone is in the drop room at the same time the start button is pressed.

There are lots of hidden buttons, but some buttons don't look like the usual SM buttons. There are also some movable items (like water faucets), which may trigger something to open. So if it looks like it might do something, smack it a time or two with the sledgehammer or throw it a spud. Some spots also allow you to see outside the spot if you go into third person mode.

Aside from Hide & Seek, there is also the Escape the Bathroom game, which can be played co-op or single player. Activate the 3 large power switches (red, green, and blue). The red one is quite easy, the others require finding hidden passages and some parkour. The first one you activate will cause a console to rise out of the floor near the big bathroom door, which shows your progress, but also contains the exit switch. Once all 3 switches have been activated, the console will open. The exit switch will open a new door in the center of the bathroom door, which will take you to the exit room.


Scrap Mechanic just doesn't have every shape needed to make this map perfect, but I hope that will not take away from the fun. I wanted to make it so that everyone can enjoy it without the need to download mods. I may make a version with mods in the future for those interested.
