How to add the custom knight skins with the custom knight

How to add skins

Download the mod installer. (If you want to know how to do this, I have another guide. Go to my profile and find it.)
Download the custom knight mod.
Go to this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1VlXmvI6KT2vzsGItY2w3rHjeCFx8DN0n?usp=drive_open
and download the ZIP files of the skins you want.
Extract the files that you download.
Open the hollow knight game files and go to the mods folder. (My PC > Whatever drive you downloaded hollow knight on > Steam library > Steam apps > common > Hollow knight > Managed > Mods > Custom Knight > Skins.)
Move the folder with the skin in it (Make sure it's extracted!) over to inside the skins folder.
Launch the game and enter any of your save files.
Pause the game.
Press mods.
Click Custom Knight.
Press the arrows on the side of the bar at the top to change the skin file until you find the one you want to use. (The name of the folder is what name will appear in game.)
Click apply.
Enjoy your new hollow knight skin!

If it does not work you can try going to [escape menu] > options > mods > custom knight options > advanced > fix skins. It worked for me

Op missed a folder, it's [Steam apps > common > Hollow knight > hollow_knight_data > Managed > Mods > Custom Knight > Skins.

so i went to hollow knight in my library and clicked on properties, installed files, and then when i clicked browse, nothing happened.

I think that it didnt work because mickey g gave a very outydated vetsion of the scarab modifier

Lockne, check that the desired skin is in the skins folder, not just the mods folder, and if it is, then make sure that your clicking the apply button of the in-game page where your picking your skin
